I am a healthcare professional with 25+ years experience working in geriatric, memory care, dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I work in hospice care, palliative medicine, end of life care. I am a patient, compassionate, good listener, kind, caring caregiver. I do skilled nursing, wound care, first aid, post surgery care for transitioning patients to homecare. My start in healthcare was volunteering at the Red Cross, church and community outreach , I have worked eight years at the Washtenaw County DHS with CLS/CMH organizations as consumer advocate . I have worked long years managing assisted living facilities, nursing homes, directing memory care units, training, teaching and mentoring. I have earned Bachelor's of Science from EMU and Surgical Technology program from WCC. I am passionate about helping people to better their lives and improve their health.

I'm a very dedicated caregiver, with a very loving heart for all my patients, I treat each one of them as if they are one of My Grandparents or one of My Parents, and I Love them with all my heart so that's the type of love I would have for each one of my patients. I became a caregiver, I just admire and love elderly people they always bring a smile to my face when they share some of the old time stories. Hello my name is Lynda Evans First I want to offer my condolences for your loved one. I understand completely as I cared exclusively for my father for 5 years with congestive heart failure, diabetes, and strokes. I don't just do care giving I am a born Caregiver. Everybody deserves respect and compassion when facing life's challenging obstacles. I also have had medical challenges I have had to overcome and understand how important it is to be positive and stress free and not to focus on what you can't do but accentuate what you can. My clients are very happy with me and would personally ask for me to come take care of them. I even had one gentleman who was very shy about bed bath cracking up. I love and care for each individual as my own, and want them to feel the best they can in a comfortable atmosphere. I cared for a lady who started having brain surgery at 20 and she was in her 70's when I cared for her. She also was difficult to understand but with patients I learned to communicate with her very well. I have cared for Alzheimer, Stroke, Cancer, Bed and Wheel Chair bound, and much more...... ALSO: I am very organized, great on cleaning, laundry and cooking: GOOD FOOD not junk. I also do not smoke, or take any medications. What makes me a great caregiver is how I treat people with the respect and love they deserve. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my mom, i watched other people take care of her so I wanted to give the same love back to others who are in need. What I mostly enjoy about being a caregiver is helping people. A personal achievement I am proud of is how many people I've helped in my lifetime with my caregiving career:)

I am a mother of 3. Caring for others has ALWAYS been in my soul. I cared for my grandparents as a child just trying to help and be around them. I have been a care giver since I was 15 I love working with the elderly or even the young who just need some help. I am reliable, compassionate and understanding. I enjoy being with someone and knowing I am making it easier for them in what can be the last years of their life. I learn to care for your family members how they want and need and grow to love them like my own! I love to cook and championship is my favorite.
