I started off in this industry taking care of my grandfather who became very ill, I volunteered in the hospital and rehab center he resided in for 4 years, I provided care for him until he passed away. He told me I needed to make nursing my career as it's what I am best at and have the heart for. As I got older, I decided to go to college for cosmetology and go back home working in special makeup for burn victims. It was beautiful to see the kids smile afterwards But ,I moved back close to my mother to help her . I did hair in three nursing homes and MHMR homes. I did work with a doctor at the hospital when Started in group home with MHMR. I have an autistic grson and I love working with anyone with special needs. I have loved my folks so much that I've worked with,I enjoy hearing their life stories. Sharing my hobbies .I like home health better. I feel the treatment and care is more personal than a nursing home. I enjoy meeting people.I enjoy cooking , and love to crochet I have my certified medication nurse. Have much experience with hospital care nursing home care I always put myself in others place knowing the care I give is the care I'd want for my own loved ones.
