But as my kids get older, I can see my efforts paying off and I'm really proud of myself for the way I've raised them, because this is the most important job of my life. They make me fight harder, show up stronger, and never stay down.

I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I like doing a variety of tasks in a day. I don't ever say, "that's not my job" but instead like pitching in to do whatever is needed. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I have over 25 years customer service experience --dealing with the public in a grocery store environment . I ,myself , took care of my own Mom (the last 5 years of her life, seeing her everyday and attending to her needs (till she passed away at the age of 102).

I'm a great caregiver because I am Very patient. I have compassion for others, especially children and the elderly. I'm kind, and a great listener. I became a caregiver in my 20s because my mom was one. My younger sisters followed. I have an aunt who is a nurse in NY and my grandma, who raised me, is also a caregiver.
