I took care of my father as a caregivers he's last 5 years of his life. Enjoyed helping get dress feed him and keeping him as comfortable as possible. What attracted me was the chance to make my father last years of his life to be as happy and comfortable as possible. I was able to take him to watch his favorite team the Yankees several times and also take him to see his great grand kids in High School sports. I was proud that even though he was handicap from a stroke I kept him safe from falling and breaking any bones and that his last years of his life he was happy and never let him get depress by always taking him out to events.

Hello My Name Is Ashley. I'm a mother to an amazing little boy who loves life to the fullest. I just recently moved back from Las Vegas due to my mother having 3 mini strokes. She has so many struggles on the day to day basis. So with that being said I started leaning to elderly care. Watching my mother start her process it mad me want to help others. She's slowly losing her memory and it's been hard but we're getting through it. I know it sounds crazy but it feels good for her to finally depend on me for things. She was there for me so I'm going to be there till the end for her. I love being able to make her day and let her know that she's doing great and all of this is just a daily part of life. My most personal achievement is when I finally became a mom. Long story short I can't have children and when I was able to get my son and adopted him I was the happiest person on earth. Seeing him grow into such an amazing little man is so incredible. The elderly are just like kids. Going back to relearning things and we just got to show love and patience and everything will be fine.
