The reason I became a caregiver is because when I was younger I took care of my grandmother and feel in love with the fact me taking care of someone with a passionate heart like mines. What I like most about being a caregiver is I love helping people. My personal achievement I'm proud of is that if I put a smile on my clients face my job has been done. As long as they are happy I'm happy. Hard worker, dependable, motivated, trust worthy, family oriented, great cook I'm very dependable, hard worker, motivated, family oriented and a person that gets the job done with no problem.
I am a devout Christian. Caregiving is my passion. I have been a Nurse/Caregiver for 30+ years. I am 8 credits away from an R.N. degree, though not currently enrolled in school. I have contributed to a successful nursing facility through excellent/professional care, referrals and word of mouth. And that, I am proud of! Due to having a burden for people, I am always compelled to help those in need. As a Caregiver, I have always assisted children and elderly, the like. I was a Therapeutic Foster Parent for 8 years, having had the toughest cases to meet me at my doorstep. The challenges brought sweet rewards. I originally became a Caregiver when I assisted my mother with activities of daily living for mentally challenged, teenaged boys. It was so natural for me, that I immediately knew, this was my calling. I do my very best to meet all the needs of each individual, thereby, going above and beyond the call of duty. I have never been in trouble, of any kind. I never have: drink/smoke/profanity/drugs/alcohol/diseases/partying or anything of the such. I am very active in the church. I am very passionate about serving others, and even randomly assist my sister, who has MS, when she visits TX. I have a broad range of experience from MS, ALS, MSA, Cancer Recovery, Autism, Parkinson, and so much more!I've been helping others for 31 years, non-stop! I'm here to help your loved one live AT home, not IN a home! All of these aspects mentioned above, and many more, makes me an awesome Caregiver!

Hello, I have over seven years experience as a home/institutional individual care giver. I have worked with the elderly in many professional capacities. I am a very positive person with a gentle sense of humor. I am a compassionate, detailed, creative, and responsible person. I have graduate degrees. My CNA license is current. I have worked in private homes, hospitals, nursing homes, LTCF's, etc. I can run a household, deal with repair men, organize your paperwork, do any parts of it you need. I can collect the information needed and you make the decisions. I am also good at cleaning, cooking, running errands, making doctor appointments, taking care of a pet in the house, and being a good companion. I like situations where my listening and conversational skills will be used. Being a caregiver is not a hobby. It is something I do as a professional. I charge more because I am bringing maturity and experience. I have very strong references available.

I became a caregiver to help people, to make a difference in someone's life. The best part of being a caregiver is knowing you were there to help someone in need (being needed). My biggest achievement was moving to Texas and taking the CNA class.I took care of my mother for 4 years after she had a couple strokes and was diagnosed with MS. I knew then taking care of others was my gift from God. I Love what I do. I am a single mother of 3 sons whom are all grown, I have 3 beautiful grandkids. I've lived in Houston for 6 years and have been employed with the same hospital for 5 years. I have also worked in assisted living as well as home health. I enjoy helping others and take pride in making others feel better.
What makes me a great caregiver is that I have Passion and Heart in what I do. I became a caregiver because I believe everyone needs great care at their most needy moments in life with someone who has patience and understanding. My Achievements has been knowing I've done a 100% in making my client feel comfortable, safe, loved, and with a smile on their faces before my day is complete. I feel that I would be the perfect care giver because I'm loyal, dependable, caring, loving, treating your love one as if they were my own family.
I'm not much for bragging on my self but I will say that I have innate sense of selflessness and empathy, I try to show a willingness to serve, an absence of “attitude,” and the patience to weather a patient’s bad days, all with a smile on my face. I believe that happiness and laughter are on of the greatest heal tool ever. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. Or when your doing some little something special for them, they stop you, and say thank you. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. Meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. I enjoy the opportunity to impact peoples’ lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. I will always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses, just as I did with my dad when he was ill with cancer. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh.
I feel that I am the right person for this job because I'm capable and willing to to take care of your love one. I have tons of experience, I'm willing to put my all in not only for the job but to to have the opportunity to physically help out the elderly. My heart and smpathy goes out to individuals that are not only elderly but for the ones who cannot physically do or provide for themselves like a normal human can, for whatever the case may be due to any disease, cerebral palsy, mentally challenge, polio or other. If interested please email me back or give me a call thanks ! May god bless.

I became a caregiver because it was my calling and I always wanted to take care of people. I've been in this line of work for 18 yrs. Working with different types of people, care is different for each person. My personal achievement is that I'm in school for nursing and I have raised my kids. I'm a 40 year old with two boys and been married for 19, I'm in school to become a nurse(RN, BSN) and I'm very out going and hard working.
I've been taking care of people since I was nine years old. My grandmother had a assistant living facility and I worked there. All I know is being there for other people because this job isn't for everyone. I remember people names and not there room number like some people do. I truly enjoy taking care of people.
