I have experience in bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, repositioning, transfers, ADL's, toileting, check and change. My name is Katy! A little about me I took care of my father when he was alive he was bed ridden due to amputation, diabetes and kidney disease. Just because you are living with this crazy disease that doesn't mean you can't live a normal life. When I walk into a family's homes. I walk in with a positive attitude with a big smile on my face to ease the pain of all the troubles they are going through right now. I have worked in private homes, group homes, etc. My desire is for excellence, quality and most importantly "LIFE", and to provide individualized care to each of my clients with the utmost dignity and respect. I started this professional career in 2009 after my dad had a stroke and of course I wanted to step in and take care of him. I realized after he passed away that this was my calling. I am caring, compassionate, confident and exude enthusiasm as well as personality plus!! I'm an excellent caregiver because I love what I do and I strive to always be the best in whatever I'm doing. My greatest personal achievement's have been raising 2 beautiful daughters as a single mom. The other would be going back to school and achieving my CNA & Phlebotomist license.
