I feel it's very important to help keep ones dignity along with self confidence. I try to treat others the way I would like my loved ones treated. I'm patient, caring, compassionate, punctual, honest, detailed oriented, well groomed, clean, reliable. I enjoy keeping a client active as long as it is safe. I have served people in the community & through religious callings. I've envolved my children when they were young so they'd be comfortable serving others as well. I became a caregiver because I need to work and I want to enjoy working. I feel I have contributed in helping many enjoy life no matter the circumstances.

Hello, I'm tayvia I have been doing this type of care for about 6 years now. I absolutely love helping people in need. I wanted to help people since my grandparents were my entire world and I got to help and be there for there last time here on earth and that when I realized that I love helping people.

The skills I obtained during 23 years of being a Project Manager have easily transferred to other roles because of the importance of documentation, reliability, schedule and the need for details and providing weekly reports. In the last 3 years I have been a private caregiver with most of my clients having dementia, Alzheimer's, strokes, cancer, or hip replacement post care. I transferred out of the corporate world to something I was passionate about because of the influence on my parents impressing upon me to give back, to use my talents and heart to help others during times when freedom and dignity and a lack of companionship aren't providing the quality of life they deserve.

I am very patient with all patients. I pay attention to every thing that my patients need . I make everything to make my patients feel comfortable and happy. I love making company and talk and if it's possible we play some games on the table so my patients don't get bored. My goal is to make my patients feel better and comfortable enough to recover from anything they went through.

As a caregiver I'm very patient and kind and understanding I'm willing to help or go the extra mile for the clients . Why I because caregiver because I took care of my grandma and wanted to make this a profession and have a better understanding of others. I'm just happy at the end of the day I feel I achieved in helping others ,that's my goal.

I would like to introduce myself as a candidate for the Caregiver position at Josephine Gardner' Home. As a highly empathetic and caring individual with extensive experience in the caregiving field, I am confident that I can succeed as a Caregiver for Jojo, I also provided home health care for a rotation of 10 patients per week At Aloha care ( Hawaii ) five days a week. My responsibilities included light housework, giving baths, preparing small snacks, reading to patients, helping them around the house, helping patients use the restroom, providing companionship, keeping track of appointments, and feeding patients. I am very passionate about the well-being of my patients. I believe that the elderly are a valuable and important generation, full of wisdom and knowledge and that they need to be cared for and protected. During my young years, I served as a primary caregiver for my grandmother. As a frail woman in her late 80s , she needed a lot of assistance with most day-to-day functions. Since I was there more than my parents, who both worked full-time, I took it upon myself to be her caregiver. The more time I spent with her, the more I realized that although her body may not function, her mind was an ocean of stories and wisdom, waiting to be explored. I will always cherish the time I had with her and the things she taught me. I would like to thank you for your time and consideration. I i started that kind of job when my mom have strokes two time n it's really bad.n only me not work that time.i move take care my mom cleaning take her shower cook n cleaning take her outside feat her.turn her every time excercise her.change her diaper.for 5yrs then she pass away,then i take care my dad do the same thing to my dad for 3 years my dad pass away.for that moment i like to do the same thing to everyone they need help.everytime when you I m do the other people i click to my mine my parents n i need to do the same thing i feel that my mom n my dad i have more love respect n treat them good n make them happy.that y i like to do that kind of job the love that have.to my parents i need to share other people.

Hello, my name is April and I have 10+ years experience working in the Home health care industry, and thoroughly enjoy it! I have provided care in homes and hospitals for a diversity of patients with Alzheimers, Parkinsons, dementia, and hospice needs. I am first aid and CPR certified, a CNA, and have started taking classes to become a nurse. I have had a variety of medical experience such as working in the University of Utah burn unit which required high medical standards. I have been told I am naturally compassionate and competent, especially when working with the elderly and disabled. I value honesty, hard work, and live a clean life style. I am also happy to help with light cleaning, meal prep., pets, and organizing/laundry. During this time of the coronavirus I am being extra careful to follow the guidelines our national leaders are recommending.
