I never intended to become a caregiver. I fell into the position through a friend's connection and discovered that I absolutely love it (and I am amazing at it!) I am a trained and skilled healthcare provider with a background in biomechanics and rehabilitation. I have reliable transportation, am intelligent and good at managing schedules and appointments, and I have a cheerful, fun personality. I am responsible, reliable and mature. As a caregiver, I have found it incredibly rewarding to insert myself into a home that was struggling just to get by day to day, and help bring order and flow. Watching the progress my patient has made over the past few months is one of the most rewarding experience of my life. When I can see that other's lives are better because of me, it warms my soul. I am proud that I have nearly worked myself out of a job. My current position is with a recovering stroke patient. When I first started working with him, he needed help simply getting from his chair into his wheelchair. Now he is walking unassisted, dressing himself, and toileting alone. I love this family, but my days there are numbered (in a good way!).

I feel it's very important to help keep ones dignity along with self confidence. I try to treat others the way I would like my loved ones treated. I'm patient, caring, compassionate, punctual, honest, detailed oriented, well groomed, clean, reliable. I enjoy keeping a client active as long as it is safe. I have served people in the community & through religious callings. I've envolved my children when they were young so they'd be comfortable serving others as well. I became a caregiver because I need to work and I want to enjoy working. I feel I have contributed in helping many enjoy life no matter the circumstances.

Hello, I'm tayvia I have been doing this type of care for about 6 years now. I absolutely love helping people in need. I wanted to help people since my grandparents were my entire world and I got to help and be there for there last time here on earth and that when I realized that I love helping people.

I am responsible, caring, outgoing and a very attentive person. What attracted me the most to be a caregiver is that I can build relationships with patients and keep them company throughout the day whenever they need it. Something I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is to help my patients out. Knowing I can help them with their adls or anything else makes me happy.

I am very patient with all patients. I pay attention to every thing that my patients need . I make everything to make my patients feel comfortable and happy. I love making company and talk and if it's possible we play some games on the table so my patients don't get bored. My goal is to make my patients feel better and comfortable enough to recover from anything they went through.

As a caregiver I'm very patient and kind and understanding I'm willing to help or go the extra mile for the clients . Why I because caregiver because I took care of my grandma and wanted to make this a profession and have a better understanding of others. I would like to introduce myself as a candidate for the Caregiver position at Josephine Gardner' Home. As a highly empathetic and caring individual with extensive experience in the caregiving field, I am confident that I can succeed as a Caregiver for Jojo, I also provided home health care for a rotation of 10 patients per week At Aloha care ( Hawaii ) five days a week. My responsibilities included light housework, giving baths, preparing small snacks, reading to patients, helping them around the house, helping patients use the restroom, providing companionship, keeping track of appointments, and feeding patients. I am very passionate about the well-being of my patients. I believe that the elderly are a valuable and important generation, full of wisdom and knowledge and that they need to be cared for and protected. During my young years, I served as a primary caregiver for my grandmother. As a frail woman in her late 80s , she needed a lot of assistance with most day-to-day functions. Since I was there more than my parents, who both worked full-time, I took it upon myself to be her caregiver. The more time I spent with her, the more I realized that although her body may not function, her mind was an ocean of stories and wisdom, waiting to be explored. I will always cherish the time I had with her and the things she taught me. I would like to thank you for your time and consideration. I am very reliable person and I m proud of myself of taking a great care of my patients

I have experience with mentally handicapped. I worked at a care center for 3 years and found enjoyment in helping others. I also have two kids of my own that I am raising and also am fulfilled in teaching and helping them to become dependent adults. My mother had a stroke 4 years ago and have helped her with rehabilitation and daily care to get her back to dependency. I am a patient individual and would love to have the opportunity to help people who are unable to help themselves.
