I have 18 years of experience caring for adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I enjoy working with seniors and currently volunteer weekly at the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center, working with people with mild cognitive impairments and dementia. I worked at OHSU for over 12 years as a Social Work Specialist where I provided both patients and families support and education around community resources, systems of care, legal systems and insurance needs. I found that by connecting people to a needed resource , it can help them remain active and independent. I look forward to bringing that rewarding aspect to my role in care giving. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, exercise ( I truly believe that a walk and some fresh air can transform your day!) and spending time with my husband and two sons.

I am 25 years old, I have been a caregiver for a span of 4 years so far! Everything about being a caregiver is so important to me, from the tidy housekeeping, to companionship and client support is all crucial to me. I have 2 beautiful children and I am a full time online student working towards my bachelors in Civil Engineering and Business Administration.

Caregiving is a passion of mine because people are at their most vulnerable state and deserve a caring person to meet their needs. I have a lot of experience in the home and hospital setting. I am a compassionate person who enjoys making peoples lives easier. I run a nonprofit dog rescue in Benton where I am the caretaker of senior and special needs animals. This work has led me to work with the elderly community in a variety of ways, and I feel like I can continue to be a benefit to families in this rural area.

I have not work as a caregiver. I am a retired special education teacher. Before I was a teacher I worked as a nurse assistant at a senior citizen home and loved it. I enjoy working with children and the elderly. For the summer I don't work with students and would like to try working part time with elderly giving them care or/and being there for them to give them company. I have my teaching certificate and back ground check card is current. I am married and for that reason I would like to be with my husband and occasionally visits from family on weekends.
