I became a caregiver after working as a medical assistant for five years. I decided to become a caregiver to provide quality care to seniors who want to continue to live in their homes. I enjoy working with people and ensuring that they receive care they deserve along with a healthy active lifestyle. As a caregiver I have continued my education to receive my associates in science degree and am working on my bachelors degree. I continue my education to keep myself updated on the ever changing needs for seniors and the changes in the health care field. This allows me to continue to provide the best care possible to my clients.

I became a care giver because I enjoy helping others. I like working with people that can use the help and support of another person. I am proud of being a college graduate. I have my BA in Business Management. I am a happy mother of 5 daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family and teaching them that anything is possible.

I became a Caregiver because I wanted to make a difference in someone's life. Some times I think all people want is to have someone listen to their story. Just to know that they matter. Some times just taking the time to listen can make the greatest difference. I like being a Caregiver because it gives me satisfaction knowing that I put a smile on some one's face and made their day a little better. My personal achievement that I am proud of is that I went back to school and have just received my degree in Human Services. I will be going back to school in Jan. 2015 for my Bachelor's degree. I have been a Caregiver before I even knew what one was. I have always been the one that takes care of someone or something since I can remember. I have taking care animals of all kinds, people from different walks of life, my grandparents, in laws, and my sons. I am patient, caring, and have a need to help others.

My passion toward the elderly has grown tremendously when saw my mother's health decline in front of my own eyes and ever since that day my love for the elderly grew stronger. Being able to be help to someone in need is very rewarding. I have always had a passion to work in the healthcare field and now i am presently attending the University Of Phoneix pursuing a degree in Healthcare Management. I am a very outgoing mother of five children.

I became a caregiver because I love spending time with others and love helping others out. I would like to say the one thing I like most would knowing I helped and made someone's day. I would say my biggest achievement would be learning a lot in the hospital working here for seven years. I am a mother of two children who are eight and four. I have been and aide in both long term and hospital setting for over nine years. I worked on the surgical floor with preoperatIve and postoperative. I would float to other floors to help out when they were short staffed. I am a receptionist at a orthopedic office for a most a year now.

I have been a caregiver for 28 years. I became a caregiver because I adore and love caring for people whether it be a child or a senior. I have been a CNA but now just a PCA a personal care assistant. I cook and have had my own catering business called the LUNCH LADY. I do light and heavy housekeeping. I run errands to the grocery store, to doctors appointments, and just daily outings. I handle personal medications and organize them if needed. My grandmother had alzheimer's and I used to go see her in the nursing home every week. It was very sad. I know that she would have been much happier to be at home with someone caring for her. Now that I care for people at home I know what a difference I make and how much better things could have been for her.

I WAS BORN A SERVICE WORKER/CARE GIVER. I HAVE ALWAYS FELT IT WAS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO SHARE MY TIME AND ENERGY WITH THOSE IN NEED. I became a certified nursing assistant because I wanted to help others who need help with ADL's. I like making the person happy and comfortable. My personal achievement is going back to school and currently working on a Bachelors degree. I am a wife of 17 years and counting and a mother of four(two girls and two boys) ages 19,17,13 and 8. I like to smile and make others smile also.

I am a In Home Support care giver. I have experience with disabled, Alzheimer and Parkinson Disease, I became a care giver when my daughter went on dialysis. I am currently living in a 55+ community and I visit widows that can not drive or have no visitors. As my father battled liver cancer I was his care giver without pay. I changed his diapers, washed him in bed, feed him soft foods; and turned him every four hours to prevent bed soars. I have a great mount of respect for older adults. At times my neighbor who lost her husband during my visits with Ruth she would tell me the same story and show me the same pictures of her family. I received her information and showing of pictures of letter as if it were the first time. I am patient and really blessed to have a mom who is 96. My greatest achievement is treating people as I would like to be treated. Patience to listen, be polite and offer assistance to those need to shop for home supplies and groceries or simply visiting. The greatest achievement is Integrity! I am separated from my husband since 2005, I have a son in college on a scholarship with goals of becoming a pilot. I have a daughter that lives with me she used to be diabetic; however with a pancreas and kidney transplant she is no longer diabetic.

I am a great caregiver because I anticipate what the person I care for needs and will do it for them without having to be asked. I go above and beyond what is expected of me. I am extremely caring and loving towards the people I care for. I am strong and healthy and that makes my clients feel very safe while assisting them with walking or transfers. I love caring for the elderly. They have a world of experience to share.

I have always considered to care for individuals who need assistance in their homes. Most experience is from taking care of clients and family members. Training has also given me the knowledge and experience working with family memebers who count on the care of other family members to care for them. Having a close family member needing special attention for the rest of his life inspired me to be dedicated in the healthcare area. This has allowed me to experience many different care options and given me the opportunity to understand conditions as well. I love being a caregiver helping the elder when they need help to care for themselves.

I have the capacity to understand what others may not be able to communicate. I am empathetic to others needs and will go above and beyond to help them achieve their needs. My communication skills are excellent even in a non-communicative environment. My passion is elderly and disabled, whether that be mentally or physically. Everyone deserves a fair chance at a good life and I want to help others succeed. I am a very hardworking person as I also have the desire to provide thoroughly for my family as well. I find that elderly and disabled persons flock to me as they feel safe in my presence and know that that isn't always the case for them.

I am a very kind person who loves people. I am respectful, compassionate, and understanding. I am a person who has integrity and I treat others with respect and dignity. I know how to be a great leader as well as how to humble myself. I am a great listener and I know how to give advise when needed. I know how to multitask, I am reliable and consistent. I am very punctual and hardworking. I have a heart for those in need and truly believe that everyone should be treated with respect dignity and care. I love to smile and laugh and believe that since you only live once, why not value every minute of it.

Being a caregiver is very rewarding, when the client tells you, that you are a wonderful caregiver.I enjoy being a caregiver people depend on me being my best to help them, making sure there needs are taken care of. After being a caregiver I achieve getting my CNA license, to give higher better care in the medical field, being the best person I can be for others. I am a mother of three adult kids, my daughter and two boys, raising them on my own. I recently did get married in 2012, other jobs I have worked did not feel much of achievement from, being a CNA I feel I have achieved much more with my clients.I have thought about the medical field for a long time, I am now proud to be a part of the medical field in helping others.

I have been a cna/pca for about 20 years. I am a amazing cna/pca who empathizes with the patient and family and I am able to consistently convey a complete understanding and knowledge of what they are experiencing, along with a strong conviction of wanting to help the patient out daily .
