I enjoy providing care for others. I have cared for those with many many different levels of needs and have learned a lot in the 19 years I have been a caregiver. I am comfortable caring for, providing personal care and bathing men and woman.

I am a all around kind person, and I try to bring to joy to anyone I work with. My fiance found out that he had colon cancer about three years ago, and he had to have a big surgery to remove the cancer. He ended up with an ostomy bag that I helped him with, and he also came home with a pic line that I had to hook him up to an IV everyday. I helped him recover until they were able to remove the ostomy bag. Then my mother got sick with cancer and came to live with me. I took care of her, by helping her shower, I also had to help her to the bathroom or to her portable toilet. She ended up needing to use a bed pan. I had to administer the medicine that she got from hospice. It was hard to have to see my mother that way, but I know she needed me and needed companionship . My mother was my world and she meant everything to me, but I knew that I had to do everything that she needed, and make sure she was comfortable, and happy for her last few months of her life. She passed away in January. Being a caregiver make sme feel like I am doing something that means something to someone else. Making people feel comfortable and helping them with what they need makes me feel that I am making someone happy. I am proud of that fact that I was able to take care of my mom when she needed me the most. It was hard at times, but I know she needed me to be strong.

I am a very friendly hard working woman. I take pride in my work and in helping others. I enjoy being there for others and I love seeing them smile. I believe it is my destiny to be a caregiver.

Hi my name is Amanda Washington, I am a loving person, I enjoy helping people when they need it rather its a big job such as a person being bed bound or a small job such as reminding to take ones meds. I used to care for my grandmother back in 2010 up until 2012 when she passed. I have obtained my CNA license after that and been working in the healthcare field since. I really enjoyed the company and helping my grandmother, so I stuck with it because I wanted to help others feel the same way. From me working in this girls I have had good reviews about my care and my skills. While I was working in a nursing home I was awarded for meeting patient care needs, and awarded for being a hardworeker because I used to stay longer and come in early when they were short staffed.

I believe treating people with kindness is what makes me a great caregiver. I love the elderly people and this is the time where they should be adored the most. Growing up having to take care of my grandmother and uncle molded me to become a caregiver. A personal achievement I am most proud of is finishing high school and heading on to college

I have taken care of my grandmother whom had kyphosis back, and also struggle with COPD. I also take care of my parents who has diabetes, high blood pressure, and deterioration in the number 3 disc

I truly have a passion for in-home care. I've spent the majority of my adult life in the field because I feel that it's a field that is overlooked and under appreciated. Having a client be able to stay home safely and comfortably, is my number one goal. I have years of hands-on and administration experience which has given me the opportunity to grow and feed my passion. Compassion and know-how are so important in this role!

Care giving is a very rewarding passion of mine, I became interested in care giving while caring for my grandmother in her senior community. I enjoyed at a very young age of 25 hanging out with her elderly friends, who had always needed my help. When my Grandmother hosted "Girl Days" at her home, I enjoyed serving them, I enjoyed listening to their wisdom and stories. In fact to this very day, I still enjoy the companionship and genuine friendships I have made with people that were 3-4x my age, this is truly the part of care giving I enjoy most. I enjoy learning from walking living history. Sadly, I have been doing this long enough to hear and see horror stories of some of my clients experiences with previous care givers experiencing theft, neglect, etc. , I pride myself and very proud that I provide exceptional, quality, affordable care and I respect the client, and only want their quality of life to be the best they can possibly have. One of my main purposes on this planet is to care for those in need, and I plan to continue to provide this ethic to all of my future clients.

I'm a Christian woman with 4 children and 2 dogs. I love helping and meeting people. I love to learn. I believe that there is much to learn from those that traversed before me and love to glean new wisdom from those I meet.

I have worked in health care for over 20 years holding different job titles as well as working my way up to management. I chose health care because helping people always made me happy. I am the type of person that automatically tries to help someone I need, for the reward of seeing them smile or thrive to the best of their ability. My desire to help people had a great impact on moving up to a management position at a job I worked at for seven years.

What makes me a great caregiver is because i care about people and i have worked with the young and elderly for over 15 1/2 years and beside i love caring for people and making a difference in their lives. I became a care giver because i love helping and want to help in healing others to live a normal life. As a child i have always dreamed of becoming a Doctor in the help of healing people. I love working with the young to the elderly i find it very interesting and besides you get to know so many different people of different cultures. I have worked in a company called Caremore. Most of the patients I took care of were seniors. I have assisted elderly people in their health for five years now. There is nothing more than I love to be a companion for them and support them in their health needs. Caregiving has a great opportunity to interact with people that need help. I have experience in taking vital sign, giving medication, and assisting in transportation.
