I want to become a caregiver because I witnessed they way my step-dad was treated by my sister and it did not sit well with me. The best thing I ever did was take over taking care of him I was allowed to spend his last days showing him how much I loved him and that he was the most important man in my life. The most important achievement in my life is being a mother to my children.

OBJECTIVE-Doing what I love, providing a needed service to our community, and making a livng too. To be responsible for the safety and well being of our Senior citizens and developmentally disabled, and assist those in need with daily living activities, housekeeping and errands; or even provide companionship and friendship.

I am a very kind person who love to help others,no matter what the situation may be. I like caregiver job because it helps me to carry on my dreams. The personal achievement is to see the person of whom I give to come back to his /her normal stage of live. I am strong,hard working,trustworthy,friendly,a good cook,does good house keeping and love older people.

I became a caregiver to help elderly and disable individuals to function efficiently on a daily basis. I like when I can serve others and they are happy with the service I provide. I am proud that I am able to currently work as a caregiver and attend school to acquire a master in Science and Health Education degree. I am a go getter, fun loving type of person, and I love people.

I'm caring and compassionate, and devoted. I am dependable, nurturing and patient. I enjoy caring for others and assisting others achieve their life long goals and dreams. I assist and support with whatever is needed for great quality outcomes.

I am 38 yrs old and i have been working as a caregiver for 10yrs. I'm looking to find a job as a live in as i finish my degree in nursing. Also willing to relocate for the right job. I am reliable, trustworthy, honest and i have a big heart and love what i do.

I have taken care of my father with his ADLs, as well as others in need. I am caring and hardworking. I have always taken care of people since I was little and acting like my father's nurse when he broke his arm. Being a caregiver is a rewarding job for myself, it helps me with my anxiety and I love taking care of others. I go over and beyond the call of duty at times when needed. Being a caregiver gives me a sense of accomplishment, because I know I am helping those that need it.

My name is Tracy Briggs and I am currently going to school to be a registered nurse. Naturally, I am a person who loves to help others and most importantly I understand the frustration of caring for a loved one. My Mother, Sister, and I took care o my grandfather for a year and a half through four major surgeries at the ages of 88-90 years old. The most overwhelming situation was finding someone who you could trust to just do basic things to free up time. Being responsible for someone and their care is exhausting, hard, time-consuming, and overwhelming. At the time I took care of my Grandfather, I was unaware of programs like this. Now that he is in a home, I feel I can give back to a family what I lacked, support. The great thing about this process is it allows me to exercise my personal experiences with my aspiring career. I love people, and I love helping. Though it may only be a couple hours a day. I understand how valuable that time is even though it may be just a couple of hours. Everyday is not the same and some are frustrating, but the joy of seeing progress while allowing someone to be in their home is priceless for the dignity of the client and the sanity of the family. I am most proud of myself for going back to school to pursue something I love, and I am also proud that we were able to nurse my Grandfather back to health where he now has gained his independence back. Many people in this situation just want to be themselves as much as possible, and I believe understanding that is the biggest key to helping them.

I live with my mom and take care of her

I demonstrate strong Dependability ,Empathy, Patience, and Flexibility. While at UAMS I was place on the honor roll, for patient care. I am a loving and caring person who enjoyed spending time with my family, I feel that I am a perfect caregiver because I am willing to go beyond the call of duty for the person in my care. I am honest loyal and trustworthy.

Last night, I went to my overnight shift to one of my greatest client. I saved her life. She's having surgery this morning. It feels good hearing her calling my name and said: Josie, you didn't have to come. I know you're not doing it for money, but you know my fear if hospital. You comfort me. You're no longer my caregiver. You're my friend. She called up her children, and they started calling me. It feels great! I have a purpose. I am alive. I'm not just existing. Bringing comfort to someone in their lonely time, or their last moment....what greatest achievement there is? She was smiling. I hold her hands and all of a sudden the hospital becomes a luxury hotel room. If I never accomplish nothing more in this life. I will always cherish all my moments being a caregiver. To be trusted. To be considered as a friend and as a family. To bring smile and peace to someone face. I'm pastor Josie. I believe in treat others as you would like to be treated- I lived by the Golden rules.

My personality traits include, honesty, friendly, caring, enjoy serving others, problems solving, dedicated, dependable, and a certified/licensed chaplain. What attracted me to become a caregiver was my pasted experience as a care provider. I was a care provider for foster youth for 20 years. What I enjoy most about caregiving is building positive relationships with the clients and family members. One of my personal achievements that I am very proud of includes, writing a book and completing my Doctorates.

Before going into food service I was CNA at mm Ewing continuing care center at FF Thompson Health Care. This career choice has many rewards and therefore I chose to further my education. I attended University of Phoenix and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare. My overall goal is to one day be my own boss and assist families with helping their loved ones at home. This is my passion my life's work.

I am a great caregiver because, I give compassionate and loving care. I treat my patients/clients like I would my parents. Being able to help my patients reach their ultimate goal is my focus My motto is safety is paramount. I like being a caregiver because I'm able to help and show care, because I'm a caring person who likes to help. I became a caregiver because of the passion I have in my heart for people. I am proud to say that I have worked with heart and broken hip clients whom I have helped to return to doing their own ADL's and have left them very satisfied with the level of care. I'm a 56 y.o. female who also has the ability and skills to office work. I can work as a Staffing/scheduling Coordinator.

Ijust have a passion for taking care of those that need care, I took care of my Grandfather for 13 months while he was in a Nursing facility. I did everything for him, I bathed him, dressed him, groomed him, feed him, I did his laundry, etc. I took care of him as if he was still at home. I even made pop up visits through out the night and early mornings to make sure he was not being neglected. Its because of the love and care that I had for my grandfather, that pushed me into the nursing field. I learned so much from taking care of him, that I diddecided to attend school and further my education in health care. I recieved my medical assisting certification thriugh Olympia Career in May of 2004, I then recieved of other certifications like Home Health, and I recieved my Associates in Heath Adminstration from the University of Phoenix. I have a few more classes to complete before I recieve my Bachelor's. I just enjoy taking care of those that need some or alot of care. I currently take care of my 84 years old Mother, as well as my cousins 74 years old GrandMother. Just seeing the smile on their faces after they recieve care brings so much joy to my heart. I continued my education in Healthcare because of my Grandfather, he gave me the motivation I needed to continue with my education. I became a caregiver, because I like to help others who are unable to care for themselves. The one thing I really like about caring for others is that you give them hope. The look on there faces when they see you come through the door, they know you are there for them . Especially the ones with no family members. A personal achievement of mine is that I have been in this field for 14 years. I am a 34 year old wife and mother of 3 lovely daughters. I am currently working towards my associates degree in health administration.

I have not had the opportunity to become a caregiver yet. Earning my degree and being a caregiver to my chronically ill daughter at the same time. I am an outgoing, people person who is willing to learn and experience new things.

I have been a CNA for 10+ years and a certified caregiver. I am a former Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic/CPR Instructor. My entire life has been spent taking care of people, offering critical help when in need and during critical/crisis situations on the ambulance. I believe our elderly deserve our utmost respect and to be treated with the highest sense of dignity and honor.

I am 29 years old and I have always been a caregiver. Every job I have ever held required caring for individuals who needed extra support. I am a caregiver because I developed a love for the field at a very young age. I come from a long line of caregivers, the most influential being my grandmother. As a nurse she cared for strangers all day and then she would come home and care for her ailing mother, one son who had special needs and intellectual disabilities and another who had a terminal illness. Everyday that I advocate for the people I support, I think of that strength. I also carry with me the empathy of being the family member of someone who requires such care; I care for my clients that compassion. I genuinely love my career, nothing makes my day greater than finding new ways to care, support, and advocate for my clients. I am proud that I chose a field that I love, other than one based on monetary gain.
