The reason I've decided to become a caregiver is that after the last 3 yrs as a nanny to a wonderful family I wanted to try the other end of the spectrum, so to speak. I helped care for my grandfather while he was sick and dying from cancer and though it was tough to watch him suffer, I know I helped to make him as comfortable as possible and I took great joy in knowing that I personally helped him. I'm looking to build a lasting relationship with a family that needs my services ... I'm nurturing, patient, fun, empathetic, dependable, giving and go above & beyond of whats expected. My grandfather made a big difference in my life and I'm wanting to pay it forward by helping a family and in way, a surrogate grandchild and/or child if the person has never had any. To make them feel special while taking care of their daily needs and also while helping to better myself for the future. ** WILL BE GETTING THE BACKGROUND CHECK COMPLETED THIS WEEK **

When I was 10 years old I had leg problems I wasn't able to work for years I reacieved help from people I didn't know and it gave me a heart of wanting to help others especially those in needs . Iam very responsible person, cares for one another. I love to see others happy, and love everyone without choosing.

I have been caring for clients with special needs for my entire adult life. I have worked hard to achieve a balance of loving professionalism with my clients. Although I am the mother of a child with cerebral palsy, my career choice was made before his birth. In my chosen profession, I assist children and adults with special needs in areas of personal hygiene, diet, self-help skills, recreational outings and community integration. I have dedicated my life to the advancement and well being of others. I have spoken at domestic violence and sexual abuse meetings. I made a physical program consisted of bands. Internal Core Exercise, which allows ALL people to train regardless of ailments. Also author of relationship book, The Ten Commandments of Woman. Nutrition and streching also a big part of program.

When I made the decision to become a Certified Nursing Assistant it was because I wanted to make a difference in peoples lives. I have had personal experience with loved ones who were not given the proper care they needed to thrive, so I decided to do something about it and get my certification, and it was the best decision I have made because by being a CNA I have had wonderful opportunities to meet many diverse people and given the chance to aid them in their last days or bring a smile to their face when life got them down. I believe I make a great caregiver because I have compassion and an understanding what its like to have a loved one who needs some assistance. I always think in every situation what it would be like if it was my own mother or loved one, and how I would want them to have the best care possible.

I am a passionate person who loves taking care of the elderly. I have 4 years of expirence working as a caregiver in home care. I am a very reliable and honest person. My schedule is flexible, I also have my own Vehicle for transportation if needed.

I've worked as a care giver for a year but had to Quit due to my school schedule not working out. I am currently going to school to be a medical assistant, and I love working as a care giver because I love helping other my mom work as a care giver for several years and I would watch her help other which attacked me to be a care giver. I really enjoy hearing my clients stories and their past.

I am a very kind compassionate person who possesses empathy for all humankind. I am very understanding and humbled to those in need being able to offer my helping hand is always a job well done to me. What attracted me to become a caregiver is when my step father became ill with cancer and I had to provide 24-hour care for him which taught me to be very grateful and thankful for health and the time that we all have here on Earth. The greatest thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is being able to provide my love, support and companionship to those in need. The greatest Personal Achievement I have accomplished by becoming a caregiver is learning to be more thankful and appreciate life more and it's also has taught me to have more patient and more understanding. To hear the family as well as the clients tell me how much of an outstanding job I do as well as the care, compassion and companionship I offer is a priceless payment in its self. Being able to hear that is the best achievement one can get.

I've always been a care giver at heart even when I was little. I even had a pet chicken that thought I was his mother. Thanks to good parents I had a few animals that I got to care for before they became humans so I had a lot of practice. When I would think of my own parents getting on in their years I thought about who I would've wanted for them if they needed someone. I thought of myself because I love to make others comfortable. If they were sick it was me who took care of them. If my parents were gone it would've been me to think of their return and how to make it easier for them. I am very easy to talk to and am a great listener. The stories that the elderly share I have cherished. It's a part of them that I get to keep. If I can make someone's day brighter, cheerily and hopeful than I m where I need to be. We both win on a day like that.

I'am local to Tucson, born and raised. I have 18 plus years of experience caring for patients from an urgent care setting to an Emergency Department where the patient requires life saving interventions. I'am highly motivated, driven, very easy to get along with, and very flexible with my schedule. I'am compassionate, patient and strive to give the best care that the patient and family members need and deserve. The attraction to care giving is the feeling of accomplishment and dedication I receive when caring for not only the patient, but also the other family members involved. One personal achievement I'am proud of is my graduation from Pima Colleges Respiratory Therapy program. I hold certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS. I'am looking to continue my care for the individuals of the Tucson community and I strive to provide the highest level of patient care that I can.

I've been a certified nurse assistant for about 18 years and I love it. I really enjoy working with elderly people and with their families. I'm a quiet person but loving, caring and a very hard worker I'm very passionate of what I do.

I became a caregiver for the reason it's a full filling feeling when you can help some one in need. I enjoy all aspects of caregiving. My personal achievement is I'm a single mom that have inspired my children to continue their education by leading them by pursing my LPN. I am a 29 year old mother of two. I have been married for 8 years. My passion is to become a Registered Nurse and pursue openning my own senior care home. I have worked as both a caregiver and a medication technician. I am open to all shifts but my preference is overnights. Long shifts are not a problem for me. I pride myself in my ability to help others hold on to their diginity even though they may need some added help. Caring for others is truly my passion and I believe firmly that the only way to do great work is to love what you do!

I have 3 kids who are now older (Teens) who are more self sufficient now without me always being there plus teens care about there social life's at this age. I can basically work any shifts. My greatest achievement was graduating from college while having 3 kids and a full time job and of course my beautiful family. I also cared for my elderly father for many years. My background check has been done and I have a fingerprint card from the state of Az.

My passion is to help others. My heart and direct passion is to be a caregiver of my elders. This is what I've been doing for 11 years.

I believe that a caregiver should be someone who is kind, understanding, trusting and knows what the family is going through . Helping take care of my grandparents opened up my eyes to what a caregiver should be. I like to be able to help people .
