What makes me a great caregiver, is my ability to care so much for others and my sensitivity to others individual needs. I was attracted to being a caregiver because I've always wanted and enjoyed taking care of others. The thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is being able to see the joy it brings to those in need of care; my joy comes from their joy. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is being a mom and a grandmother.

I became a Caregiver when my Grandmother had a stroke. While doing that I loved the idea of helping people in need, so that is when I decided to apply to be a Inhome Care Provider. I love to see people smile and be happy, and that gives me great satisfaction.

I would like to invest my time in those that need it and do it to my best ability. I am 20 years old and my career path is in healthcare. I am compassionate in what I do and love helping others. When my grandparents started losing their hearing and memory, it took a toll on me. Being as close as I am to them, I wanted to be there for them as much as I possibly could. I want to make your family member comfortable and for them to know they are in good hands.

I have over 25 years experience caring for clients and families. I love caring for seniors as each and everyone of them are kind, loving, and grateful for the simplest thing you do for them. Caring for seniors is my passion!

My name is Mellisha Lofton and i am from Long Bech Ca and became a caregiver there in 2008 to 2013 for my a women who was paralyzed on the left side of her body until i relocated to Houston TX, she had a two month old son and who i helped care for as well and i loved it. Being close to her made me feel like i can use my strength and ability that she didnt have to help her out in any way possible which i loved doing and made me love my job that much more which was being a Caregiver. I like being a caregiver because I am able to help them in all ways possible, by talking to them, spending time with them, helping them and just being the open heart and hand that they need and want to make their day seem as normal as possible. I currrent work at George Bush Airport as a Lead/ Supervisor Customer Care Agent and my job is to assist Elderly, Disable, and unaccompany minors on and off the aircraft with wheelchairs and or alley chairs (which are used by myself and another co worker to transport them from the wheelchair to the aircraft chair due to them not being able to move, walk, or stand.) We also help carry their bags. The job that i have now is kind of like a caregiving job to me because i am sometimes taking elderly passengers from their families at security and assisting them all the way to their fligts with whatever they need. I became a caregiver because, I enjoy talking and caring for people. I love most that as a caregiver you have to ability to makes someone's day in spite of a upsetting situation. A personal achievement I am proud of earning a 4.0 last semester in college. I am a loving caring person, that absolutely loves senior citizens and children. I pride myself in trying to make them happy in spite of their current situation. I am a great worker and always looking for way to advance myself. Currently a college student trying obtain a degree in sign language interpretation. Looking for some over night work or weekend shift.

I became a Caregiver because I like helping those that cannot help themselves. I like getting to know people and what they can teach me I always learn something new when I help others. I went to school and passed my medical Billing class. I am currently seeking employment I have always wanted to help others I am a good listener and I can get the task done and completed.

I become a Caregiver because I want to help people who don't want to move out of their homes. I like about being a Caregiver is that I am help other people who need help or they don't want live their homes. My personal achievement I very proud of is that I decide to go back to college so I can better my life. After 3 years out of college I decide to came back and I am the first one in my family who is going to a get a degree and transfer to a 4 year college because after a get my AA degree in teaching I want to get my BA degree and then get my MA but my endgame is to get a PhD but I have not decide what I want to get for.

I love working with disabled adults, being able to help some one in need is my calling I have a gift for caring and always wanting to help some one, being able to make some one feel putting a smile on there face and being there when they need help.

I became a caregiver because my Mom's sister was a nurse and her husband was a Doctor. I helped out at my auncle's business by scorting clients in and out of his office. I think that I m a great caregiver because I m cheerful, honest, trustworthy, hardworking. Later on I helped to take care of my grandma and elderly aunt in their last days of life. I like being a caregiver when I see the difference that I make on them. I like to encourage them to get better, walk, eat, and have clean habits, and deal a normal life. A personal achievement I m proud about is that 95% of my clients like my work. I also like to mention that I worked for an MD until the last day of his life and I worked for him close to 2 yrs. Let me tell you something about me, I was born in Mexico city and now I m American citizen. I m bilingual in Spanish. I ve been doing CNA/CHHA for 20 yrs, worked for Long Beach memorial hospital for 16 yrs. I m a CNA/CHHA and I also have a Bachelor Degree, I got my Diplomas in the USA. I m a positive person and I go to the gym. I like to keep my clients happy and I do drive and have several references for their peace of mind.

The reason why I became a CNA is because it gives me the opportunity to work with variety people. The job also allows me to care for those who are hurt and in need of medical attention. This allows me to give back to the community in a big way, making it a great personal achievement of mine. I am a mom of two kids, forty-one years old, I love to work with people, and my patients become my family. I’m a very good worker and I put pride into everything I do.i just what a separation with my husband and he has the kids .i am one of the best CNA at my work according to my nurses and my patients love me from what that till me i also fill that i am a honest person.

I take pride in caring for others and helping others achieve their goals. Being a caregiver is not only my lifes passion but is rewarding and fulfilling to me. I have been in health care and personal care for about 20yrs. In those 20 yrs I have worked hospital bedside in many different departments such as ICU, cardiovascular, Med/Surg, Orthopedics, hospice, and also done home care, babysitting and housework/cooking. I am very confident and proud of the skills that I have been gifted with so I make it a goal to help others in anyway possible.

As a nurse, I possess a combination of personality traits and expertise that contribute to my effectiveness in this role. Firstly, I am compassionate and empathetic, which allows me to connect with patients on a deeper level and provide the emotional support they need. Additionally, I am highly organized and detail-oriented, enabling me to efficiently manage multiple tasks and provide accurate and timely care. I was initially attracted to the nursing profession because of my desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. I have always had a passion for helping others and nursing provided me with a platform to do so. The opportunity to provide care, support, and comfort to individuals during their most vulnerable moments is truly fulfilling. One of the aspects I enjoy most about being a nurse is the ability to build relationships with patients and their families. Being able to support, educate, and advocate for them throughout their healthcare journey brings me great satisfaction. Witnessing their progress and seeing them regain their health is incredibly rewarding. A personal achievement that I am proud of is being able to successfully lead a team during a challenging situation. When faced with a crisis, I was able to remain calm, prioritize tasks, and effectively communicate with the team to ensure the best possible care for our patients. This experience demonstrated my ability to adapt and make critical decisions under pressure, fostering a sense of accomplishment and confidence in my abilities as a nurse.
