I love taking care of the elderly it makes my heart very happy to be able to help someone in need. I have a great desire to take care of the elderly I love talking to them keeping them company preparing their meals giving them their medication taking them all walks I just really enjoy the job

I have 5 year experience, I take pride in my work, I cared for my Dad for 2 years , and lost my Dad in 2017.that what made me get into this line of work. I always put my clients care first. I am very happy , when I can help clients have the Freedom to stay in their home and remain in their lifestyles. I am most proud, when I can help a family through the transition of life.

I became a caregiver because I love helping people and making them feel better, making them feel like they have someone and they are not alone. What I enjoy more about being a caregiver is getting to know the patient and bonding with them.

Hello, my name is Angela and I have been a caregiver for over 8 years now. I was a manager in retail for about 6 years and came back to care giving because I realized that I love the one-on-one experience when working with others. I am patient and caring person who truly wants and enjoys helping others through healing process and or just obtaining a better quality of life. This started for me when i was a young girl and had to help tend to my grandmother who was diagnosed with Diabetes and Rheumatoid arthritis, and a uncle who is an amputee .

The main reason I became a CNA to help my grandmother. Being raised by my grandmother, I want to do anything I could to help her as she has done for me until her passing. Since her death in 1977, I use my skills and experience helping other seniors. What I enjoy most about caring for seniors is knowing I have made a different in their lives. When I provide care to my clients, I'm providing care to myself, a very good friend, my grandmother, my mother, my grand father, because my clients are a part of my family. My greatest achievement in caring for my clients is when I can give them something that the doctor or medication cannot give and that's a sense that life doesn't have to be over. For example I have bought home clients from the hospital who was given two weeks to live, after caring for them they out live the two weeks by months and one lived almost a year longer than what the doctor had given. She was able to travel twice to her home state (from California to Ohio), driving her car, and so much more that she was told she couldn't do. I have worked for agencies but prefer to work with private clients to give the care that is needed that agencies charge extra for. I am reliable, dependable, CPR certified, but more important I am capable of doing

1. My 4 children are all grown and I feel like I have graduated from showing love and compassion to them and now I have the opportunity to show that to the elderly. 2. I enjoy helping them and making life easier and happier. I respect their independence and dignity. 3. Being flexible and going the extra mile and not being asked to. 4. I have been a caregiver for 3 years. I have had experience with Altzheime's Disease, severe claustrophobia, pet care, Parkinson's Disease, and Dementia. I love caring for people that are in great need of help. I love to take time and understand what the person is going thru. I take my job seriously.

What attracted me to being a CNA ,my sister was sick with MS. I use to help take care of her when I was a kid. I realized I like helping people so I went to school to be a CNA. The most I enjoyed about being a caregiver is caring for that person and having a bound with them and let them know it's some one that care . My personal achievement know that I can help and make a change to some one life.

I love pets!! I do not smoke. I do speak a little Spanish. I'm also an art teacher and use art to creatively stimulate the right and left side of the brain for a happy and fun activity that also helps with multiple health benefits. Fine and gross motor skills as well as hand eye coordination, while having FUN!! I became a caregiver because I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others in need. My grandmother was diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimer's at the young age of fifty-five. I watched my beautiful grandmother who was full of life a woman who cared and loved her family. To watch my grandmother deteriorate and lose her memory and soon she did not know any of her family.. she always knew who I was for some reason she would call me her angel. The pain and hurt I felt that my grandmother could not live a normal life anymore. Me and my mom cared for my grandmother.. my grandmother passed away a few years later due to amonia. So I devoted my life to help others...I believe in my heart that care giving is my calling it feels so right!! I attended Long Beach City College to become a CNA. I did my internship in Long Beach at Broadway By The Sea.. I received my license for CNA. I was offered a job. I have been nursing since 2003. After I went on to school to receive my license for a HHA working in the home caring for the elderly. I have been employed with Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital since 2008 I love the elderly!!! I love helping the elderly. I love when I can make a difference in a patient life . I have a great personality.. Always giving 100% when caring for your love one. I am a wife,mother of four,and a grandma of eight beautiful grandchildren who I love dearly . I understand what it means to want the best care for your love one.

Great caregivers do their job with Empathy and compassion. Working with essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help. Patience, when you work with someone who needs home care it is important that you are patient and understanding & treating them as your own. I come into my patients life to make it better and make my self a better person. I treat my patients like i would want others to treat me or my own. I make sure they have what they need and love life.

I have family members i take care of and being a parent and teacher drove me to become a caretaker. I love people and everyone needs help especially those whi cannot fend for themselves. I am honest and a hard worker and loyal.
