My personality traits are funny, shy, sweet, loving and caring that makes me a great caregiver for you. The reason why I was interested in becoming a caregiver was my great grandfather he was in need of some assistance and I ended up loving what I was able to do for him to feel comfortable within his home while still being cared for. What I enjoy the most is seeing the smiling of the people around me and listening to the stories they tell about their life experiences .

I am a great caregiver because I love being around people and helping them with things that they are not able to do. Being a caregiver is my passion, I do not look at it like a job, but something that I love to do. I feel when you are a caregiver,you are willing to give someone else time and care that they might not get as much at home or even in a facility. My biggest personal achievement is when I can turn one of residents that may have had a bad day, into a better day and put a smile on their face. To me talking with them and having them share stories of their pass, is a pleasure in its own. I have been doing care giving for almost 5 years now and I love it, I am in the process of continuing my education, so I am learning more into the medical field.

I Always put myself in my clients situation, how would I want to be treated? How would I feel being in there situation? And most of all, How can I make there Life better! Life is to short to be miserable or sad for yourself, a simple hobby or a car ride can make a World of difference in someone's life, or just having a friend, someone to talk to... I also like to keep good, uplifting conversation when doing personal care, it helps the client to Not feel embarrassed, ashamed, or less of a man or women. My Job is to give them Back there Life, and make everyday a New, Positive, Uplifting Adventure! With God Anything is Possible!

I love to help the elderly I took care of my grandma on hospice with a broken hip for 8 years I like to read to her make her mills push her in the park and have picnics

The traits that make me stand out the most that I have been told by my residents is that I am kind, gentle, reliable, highly patient, compassionate, highly attentive and trustworthy and that my bedside manner is exceptional and they love how I treat them with the upmost respect. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love helping others in any way that I can. I love providing the best care possible and knowing that I made a difference in someone else's life.

Something that attracted me to being a caregiver was having grandparents that needed help as they got older and being able having family that would take care of them when most patients in homes don't have the family to take care of them. Something that enjoyed me about being a caregiver was being able to help patients and hearing their stories and where they come from and past life.

I have been providing companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, laundry and errands off and on for 2 years private and as an employee with a company. I have a total of 7 years overall experience. I am experienced in caring for early-late onset Alzheimer's as well as those who do not suffer from this disease. Experience with those who can become easily agitated even violent. Worked in a day center for 20 months mainly with late stage dementia and also with special needs young adults where I was specially trained to care for dementia in a person centered care. This means the person is treated as an individual and not as an illness.
