Ive been in home care in deschutes county for 10+ years, before i ran a in home low income child day care for 15 years in Lane county. Then switched up to care for the elderly and disabled. I have all trainings needed. Including adult foster home EQC certificate, medication training, i am always looking for new ways to advance and taking courses to keep myself up to date with laws and personal focus and better myself in caring. My dream job is working with veterans and their families.

I am currently a full time nursing student. I am attentive to details, reliable, patient, kind and caring. I am a Registered Medical Asst with 24 years experience, now retired. I am looking for a part time job to help supplement my Social Security, as well as allow me to continue receiving the benefits of caring for others. I also had 14 years where my own mother lived with us. She suffered from severe Alzheimer's, so I worked very closely with her Hospice team the last years of her life. I still have a lot of energy, am very organized, compassionate. I have my BLS certificate, and have completed the Level II Background Check. I live in Margate, FL with my husband who also has care-giving needs.

I fortified my willingness to help with schooling in home health aide, phlebotomy, and EKG monitoring. I became a caregiver because I saw my mother do it most of my life , I love talking and being sunshine in someone's day . I always try and encourage ny clients that although they are old and may have out lived spouses , siblings etc that they are so lucky to still be here .
