I want to be a caregiver because I enjoy helping others to secede and over come any situation. I love to cook and keep my surroundings clean!

Hey there! My name is Ashley and I am 37 years young! I have worked in the medical field my entire life and am currently in college working towards getting my degree in nursing. I love taking care of and meeting new people and I never meet a stranger. I have a huge heart as is evident in the way I take care of people. I also work at the local hospital in the emergency room alongside some of East Texas' best nurses and doctors, and I love my job. I can't wait to meet you or your loved on and support their needs.

I am very patient and caring, I love people. I have really enjoyed working with the mentally challenged, but really don't want to work full time. I feel I am a good caregiver in many ways because I truly care and enjoy people. I'm very down to earth and easily amused. I worked with seniors for 10 yrs. I am a certified HHA. I should be a CNA but was not able to pass the state board testing here in Fl. I am going to give it another shot, I passed the written but failed the clinical testing due to a minor error. I took a CNA pep course and feel I'm very qualified, but just don't have that piece of paper. I am looking for P/T work in the St. Augustine area. I have lived here for 3 yrs. I lived in Jacksonville for 20 yrs. I raised my children there and they are still there, as well as my grand daughter. I hope to here from someone soon who needs some assistance. I put my notice in at Center for Living and will be helping my boyfriend with his collectables shop, and having a lot of yard sales....Wish me luck!!!

i worked as a special needs caregiver for 3 and a half years. the home closed and i began looking for another job. there wasnt anything in that area available. at home health care called me and asked if i would be willing to work with the elderly. i have worked for 1 and a half years with the elderly. it has been awesome. it is hard to lose people you have been caring for. however, i am so blessed to have known them and help care for them. i am down to one client and need more work. i am looking forward to to meeting new friends. i specialize in the nastiest homes and the most difficult people. i look forward to hearing from you.

1. I love helping people, especially one-on-one. 2. I love working with groups or individuals of all ages in a setting conducive to healing, quality of life and learning. I have acquired a humble respect for the elderly and the disabled. The older I get, the more sympathetic I become towards them. 3. I got to be there for my aunt as she transitioned from early stage dementia to final stage Altzheimer's. Something I was not able to do for my own mother. Somehow being with her helped me to heal. I decided then, that I would dedicate myself to being there for others. No one should have to spend their twilight years alone. 4.I have grown up with a caregiver's heart because of the awesome example set by my mother in her personal ministry for the widows of the church and caring for her Dad for 16 years after his stroke. I understood early, that giving of oneself is as much gift for the giver as it is to the care receiver. Love and care are synonymous and hence Godly traits that I have had the opportunity and privilege to develop and integrate into my daily routine. We are all capable of being caregivers, we just need to nurture that part of our God-like nature.

Compassionate special needs sibling with 26 years of experience working with individuals with Autism. I've worked in assisted living facilities, memory care units, hospice, rehabilitation, and with special needs. I've worked with paraplegic, quadraplegics, various disabilities, senior care, wound care, bed/chair transfer, chair showers, assist with mobility, medication reminders, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation services, and accompany to doctors appointments or grocery shopping. I cared for one of my great grandmother until she passed away in 2015-she was 87. I also helped and cared for my other great grandmother who passed away in December of 2018. She had Alzheimer's and was in a nursing home but I spent a lot of time there brushing her hair, talking to her, making her laugh and smile, feeding her, and helping with her grooming and anything she needed. So life experience has been the best experience! I really have a passion and respect for our elders and they deserve the best. I love learning from their wisdom and I love the companionship. I also love to cook and I absolutely love helping anyone in anyway I can.

I've been doing home health for about 19 years. It's a job I take very serious and have pride in. I've had many long term patients and they all became family to me. My name is Tiesha Braxton I am 27 years of age and have 6 years of caregiving. I am very patient, attentive and dependable. The one thing that makes me want to be a caregiver is I enjoy taking care of others and helping others feel great about themselves. One of my soon to be achievements is getting my degree in nursing.

I have worked in some sort of home health care from the age of 19 through 35. When friends & classmates would talk about what they wanted to be when they graduated, I knew taking care of people was my passion. I could listen to older adults talk about their lives all day. I had a friend whose cousin was special needs & I fell in love! I was a home healthcare aid for children with special needs & when I was 28 I became a CNA. I stopped working because my husband took a job that required us to travel. I knew I wanted to work with special needs kids from the time I was about 14. I switched to adults when I became a caregiver for my father who was diagnosed with ALS. After he passed it was my passion to give adults as much care & compassion as I did my father. My personal achievement is running my home & caring for my 2 grade school children, 1 that has Autism, while my husband is away for work. I feel this has been the hardest challenge in my entire life. I do not have a support system so I have to do it alone except for when my husband is home for 1 week every month. I also find time to help care for my mother when needed & babysit my grandchildren when needed.

My nana whom I am very close with is currently in her last stage of Alzheimer's. My mother and I have had her living at home with my mom for 6 years. She's the light of our life and we have watched this disease progress with each stage. I'm a caring compassionate individual and nursing people and caring for people is my life. I am a certified nurse aide and truly loved being in school. I'd like to go back one day when my kids are a little older to become an RN. I have lots of experience with many patients that I hold dear to my heart. Lots of memory care experience and I also have just regular caring and housekeeping along with meal prep and companionship experience.

I Originally became a caregiver because my grandmother's health had took a turn for the worse and I wanted to know how to properly take care of her. It was during my initial training at a nursing home that I realized my passion for the field, I was able to provide a sense of consistency and security for my clients. I enjoy being able to assist in rehabilitating a client or being able to provide comfort when my clients needed it the most.
