Im not an official caregiver but i do have experience working with mentally disabled people and elderly people. Im going to school for nursing now and i personally think this would be a great opportunity for me.

While working for UT Health, I was always rewarded when patients submitted surveys complimenting my personality and how it made them feel better. I love that part of my job because if they have to return, often times I was requested by name to be their caregiver.

I have been a field supervisor for eleven years in healthcare. Taking care of the disabled and elderly people is a pleasure. I love caring for people and allowing people to depend on me for assistance.

I'm am an experienced and certified caregiver of 7 years and counting. I am passionate about my profession. I came about this industry in 2011 when my father passed away and this is the feild he recommended me to. Due to my certification i cannot administer medications, but can provide a reminder for clients to do so. I have experience with tracheatomy patients, ALZ, Alzheimer's, Dementia, Ms and more. I am trained with transfers, Hoyer lift, I also have experience using a cough assist machine as well as suctioning. I am also familiar with feeding tubes. I can also provide reputable references.

Hi, I'm Lynda, I'm the caregiver on the left in my profile pic..the other young lady is my oldest grand-daughter. I became a Caregiver 6 years ago. I owned some Pet Salons and groomed for 18 yrs. and loved it!! Divorce took me by surprise so by nature I was headed in a direction to do caregiving for those in need of healthcare. I can work Five days a week and maybe Six. Sunday is very important to me as being a Christian. This day I serve the Lord. My Passion is helping those who can't help themselves. That's my job. I bond easily because I really care about their fears. I am a caregiver who wants the best for each individual. I'm a Pct at a hospital and was highly trained to be the best at what I do. Long hours and hard work is all I've known but feel there is a need and relief to serve all patients who deserve to be treated with dignity. I have always had a passion for helping others. When I first started out I was helping someone who was paralyzed and could not speak. I was so sad when I had to quit, and move. One of the most important things to me is making whoever I care for feel comfortable with me and giving them the love and support they need. I enjoy getting to know individuals and learning. being a certified nurse aide for 19yrs prompt me to apply for a caregivers position. i am honest, caring and dependable. i have also worked in home health and hospital settings. i have worked with geriatric, pedi, med-surg, and enjoy caring for patients. i enjoy making a patient smile and get them out of bed to refresh their bodies.

I have 13 years of patient care is what makes me a good caregiver. I enjoy taking the elderly clients. They are full of life experiences that they want to you about. While taking care of resident in their home makes them feel comfortable. They become a part of family.

I always put my patient before me, I also want to make sure that they are content in every way before leaving for the day. The reason I started caregiving is because I was taking care of my 69 year old grandmother that has multiple sclerosis. I bathed her, fed her, changed her, everything one could need. I enjoy being able to make someone else smile, and I love to see other people doing better because I am able to help. One of my personal achievements I am proud of is being able to graduate high school a year early.
