We have a 4 year old German Shepherd named Axl, a kitten named Stevie, and a pit/lab mix puppy named Peach. I've been drawn to caregiving from a young age, since, when I was 8 years old, my mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. This instilled in me a passion for helping others with disabilities, and their families, who I know work so hard already. I feel that my sensitive nature and intuition helps me to understand a person's needs even when that person may be unable to communicate them. Hello, my names Haley! When I was in highschool I decided to start working at a local nursing home and that sparked l my interest in the nursing field. I have worked with the elderly for 7 years. Hello, my name is Nikyta! I have been with the home health care field since 2016. I began as a home health aide after high school graduation and entered Angelina College Community Program to become a Certified Nurse Assistant in the year of 2018. In the year of 2019, I wanted to have a geographical experience to where I wanted to see how the physical world shaped such as rivers, mountains, and climate, but also to see how the physical world shapes the people that lives there too. So I began the process of becoming a traveling Certified Nurse Assistant. I did this as I was also working in skilled nursing facility in my community. Unfortunately, life had disrupted this plan to where I could not renew my CNA state license in 2020. Covid emerged, but I courageously gave care to my patients that courageously stayed during the hard times. I stayed connected via phone to the patients that made the difficult but wise decision for themselves and loved ones to let go of their attendant. I enjoy socializing with my patients by them getting to know and me getting to know them. I love to cook to where at the end of high school I debated to got to a culinary school too. I enjoy learning different cleaning techniques because not everyone cleans with the same chemicals or way due to different cultures and many contributing factors. I am an online University part-time student. Attending Southern New Hampshire University pursuing a BA in Social Psychology since 2022 as I work part-time as a home health giver and voluntary work with my community.

I am a member of Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church. My personality is on the bright and bubbly side. I was a caregiver to my mother before she passed. She had an enlarged heart and was over weight. I bathed her, dressed her, cooked, refilled her oxygen tank, and gave her the medication she needed. This was when I realized that caregiving was something I enjoyed doing. Helping people that couldn't help themselves. It gives me joy to help and brighten up someone's day.
