My loved for being a caregiver sprouted from helping my grandma when she came home from the hospital, she was then recovering from cancer. I enjoy seeing them smile and feeling accomplished!!! A personal achievement I'm proud of is being successful in any and all things I set out to do for myself.

I am a people person and can fit in well in any environment. My friends always tell me I don't meet a stranger. I have a big heart and always try to help others. I believe in treating people the way I would like to be treated. The satisfaction of knowing I might of made someone's day, just by being there or listening is what I enjoy most.

I am loving and caring. I love to help people. Helping others is what attracts me to being a caregiver. I have never worked as a caregiver, but I have experience in helping my elderly mother and father with things they are unable to do themselves. Graduating college at the age of 39 was a personal achievement that I am proud of.

I am a great outgoing, caring and patient person. I became a caregiver due the fact I needed a job. But it became a passion I realized I enjoyed caring for others .

I become a CNA because when I was three yrs old I told my parents that I wanted to grow up taking care of people when they was sick & from that time & still to this day that is what I love to do. I enjoy taking care of people as much as I enjoy taking care of my family, because to me they are my family as well, in the eyes of God. My personnel achievement that I am proud of is when I went to work at UTMB & was able to learn all that they provided for me. I even got my Phlebotomy certificate & moved from PCT l to PCT ll. What to say about my self, well as I said before, I live my life caring for others & I enjoy doing just that. When I am not working I feel lost in this world. I was a Nurse aide back when we did not have to be certified, I started my nursing training in High School in Health Occupations Students of America classes in 1980, & have work in private care giver positions, Rehab hospitals, Hospitals (which includes working on Ortho/Trama unit, geriactics, med surg, MICU, SICU, recovery/PACU& much more), Nursing Homes, & Al timers Units.

I'am a compassionate person and I like working and helping people.I like lightning the life of the old poeple.I was proud to be rated the best employee of the year with good customer care service and good at team work.Working as a care giver has always be my passion.

I have been a CNA since September 2002. When I initially took the course, I was doing it for the paycheck. It didn't take long to realize and understand that no amount of money could make me feel as wonderful as what providing care for the elderly did\does. I have tried to go in to other areas of employment, but my heart is in Nursing. I truly believe that this is my calling. By January 2019, I will be enrolled in the LVN program through HMH in Huntsville, TX. Some thing that I have been simply dreaming about. I have Grandparents and other people that I care deeply about. I became a caregiver because I genuinely love helping people anyway possible. I love being able to help others and provide support , talking with others , or just being a ear if needed. I live in woodville but will travel to work. I plan on moving to the Beaumont area here soon. So therefore traveling will not be a problem. I became a caregiver so i could take care of those that are in need and could provide a comfortable life for them. I take care of everyone as if they are my own family. I do this for them. I have been a cna since 2013 and i have loved it ever since. I've worked in a assisted living facility, a group home, and two long term care and rehab facilities. Also worked in an Alzheimer's unit. Hello, I have been a caregiver for over 10years. I love working with the elderly and helping them with day to day life activities.
