Currently help family take care of mother with Alzheimer's part time

I am reliable, respectful, helpful, and easy to talk to and relate with. I am also very compassionate, organized, and have various years of experience: working as a Care giver in Hospice, working with a Stroke patient, working as both a Nurse Technician and as a Pharmacy Technician. I enjoy having that interpersonal communication with people and creating a bond that lasts a lifetime. My most personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I was able to rebuild my life from losing an Aunt that raised me, going through a divorce, losing everything, and dropping out of college due to the divorce to relocating and having a travelling career and gaining my Pharmacy Technician license in 2 years!

My passionate heart makes me a awesome CNA. I was attracted to becoming a CNA when I went to work with my mother 1 day and seen how self rewarding it made her feel. I enjoy being a CNA because when a elderly smiles and tells you how grateful they are to see me and they miss me when I'm off work; it makes my day better. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is simple. Being the best I can be even at my worst. Remembering to always have compassion and respect and love for everything even if it doesn't give it back. Following in my mother's foot steps.

I am outgoing, have always taken care of other individuals. I do not need to be micromanaged. I was referred by a friend and have known the patients for several years. I just enjoy taking care of other people. I worked 10 years with a pediatric AIDS patient that was not suppose to live past that year, he was 4 at that time and he lived to be 10 years old.

I am a happy and outgoing person, and I am reliable. I love helping others, and I take pride in knowing that I have given the best care I could possibly give and have made a positive difference in someones life at the end of the day. A personal achievement I am proud of is being a mother and caring for others.

I work at a assisted living retirement community I have certification as a nurse aide and medication.

Because I'm compassionate and love to help others. I like being a caregiver because I know the others need care and appreciate the care. One thing I'm proud of is stepping into the ministry God gave me to help others.I'm a Christian who loves Jesus Christ I'm a mother of three and I'm attending school to become an RN.

1. Why do I want to become a caregiver? I have been a caregiver since I was eighteen years old. I started off by taking care of my parents and haven't stopped yet. 2. What do I like about being a caregiver? I love to meet new people. Since I have been in the medical field for the last fourteen years it has been my patients who have taught me what it means to have compassion and patience. 3. What is a personal achievement that I am proud of? Graduating from nursing school in 2013 with honors. 4. Tell you something about myself. I have been in the medical field for fourteen years I have done a little of everything from telemetry, to medical surgical, to being a substitute teacher and correctional officer which was really interesting.

I have 23 year's. Experience a caregiver have worked in Hospital Long term care as well as private care I Like To think of myself as caring compassionate and Dependable.

What makes me a great caregiver is I truly care about residents and clients and I only hope to help the families and patients I work with. I became a caregiver because I want to help provide assistance and care to those who can no longer care for themselves. What I like about being a caregiver is the gratitude from the family and patient and knowing that I am making someones life a bit easier on them.

I believe I became interested in caring for the elderly and sick because I helped to take care of my great uncle through out his later years. I helped him with his daily needs when he expressed that he needed help. I also, cooked and cleaned for him as well as ran errands for him. I believe a large part of it was just being a companion to him. In recent years, I cared for my mother while she went through cancer treatments and also provided end of life care for her. I helped with bathing, documenting and giving medicines, cooking, feeding, changing. Of course a huge part of this was providing support and comfort to her. I am a patient, empathetic and caring person who would treat anyone how I would my own family. I also completed Nurse Aide training in the past. I have worked in a hospital setting for about the past 20 years and also I have done house cleaning in the past.

I would be a great caregiver because first and foremost I have a heart and that means I genuinely care about people. I have experience in helping elderly and young adults in adl's . My astrological sign is a Leo.. that means I am a leader and I care for people around me. I am very good listener and I follow directions well. I guess just me being a caring person attracted me to becoming a caregiver. I think what I enjoy most about doing this line of work is the fact that I know that when I leave my residents will be happy and me knowing I had a part in that. I became a caregiver because the health field has always been in my interest and well my current job gave me the opportunity to put it to hands from there i started school for MA and phlebotomy. I enjoy most the fact that I was the first care giver for my client that she actually can stand I have put my part in to get along and in a way make a bond. I enjoy this job because although am just here for a few hours it gave me the experience and the bondage that in a ways it's important I do this job because I enjoy it and respect my elderly. Personal achievement that I am currently proud of is the fact that I went back to school and although I only got certified for phlebotomist I've not given up on getting certified as MA but am proud of what I have Conquered and would like to get CNA certified as well. Am a very achievement person I see more to my future and don't stop I am very much to get along with any one and problems are not at my interest I keep to myself a lot to prosper in work terms.

I'm Toni Adams, I am a mom of 2. I like to keep myself busy and organized. I can multi task, think and act quickly, and do what needs to be done. I was a caregiver to my grandmother when her health started to decline. I helped her do her daily chores, take care of her personal needs, cooked for her, cleaned up around the house and made sure she was taken care of. We also played games and she would talk to me about her youth and I would just listen and offer feedback. I learned that she really just wanted someone to talk to and take time for her. I enjoyed being able to provide for her and be her friend. I noticed that most elderly, want someone who is willing to listen and have company. There is a lot of wisdom you can gain if you take time for them and listen to their words. You leave feeling like you gained experience and they feel accepted.

I have a kind and caring personality. I enjoy helping others that is what attracted me to the caregiver position. I am looking forward to meeting my next client and being a positive part of their life.

Being a caregiver involves being compassionate,caring,patience and truly committed.I have those qualities and it holds a special place in my heart .My mom lives with me and a take care of her daily.I love the most that I can make a difference in someone else's life because that is what I was called to do in life.Im a mother and now get to mother my mother..the greatest goal ever.

I have been doing CNA work for almost 15years. I currently work at CHI St. Luke's. I have worked for home health and also nursing homes. I love being a care giver and helping out.

I come from a small country town in which couples / families tend to retire in, so I followed in my mother's footsteps and became a CNA. After being CNA, proceeded with becoming a CMA. I enjoy workn with the elderly because they paved the way for me. Giving them the love and care that the need and or deserve is what I aim to do. Im a big hearted person so they're always room for one more. Not only can I assist with caregiving and can ensure medications are taken properly. I enjoy sitn and talkn to the elderly, listening to their stories on "back then". I feel im a great caregiver because everything comes from my experience and my compassion for the ones who've paved the way.
