I have been a caregiver since 2015. I have worked in a assisted living facility, independent living facility and home health.

I naturally have an urge to help others, my main priority is helping other people wholeheartedly. Empathy, compassion, Patience, Reliable, Trustworthy. Flexible. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members especially my grandparents, since then I have dedicated my time in doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I enjoy getting familiar with patients and accommodating their special health needs. Spending one on one time with my patients and knowing that they trust me enough to care for them, especially in the comfort of their homes. I've invested over 20 years of work experience both hospitals and in home care giving. As well as formal education and extensive training CPR/First Aid, Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Room Technician, Patient Care Technician, Certified Phlebotomy and EKG Technician. Learning new skills and take continuing education to do my job well.

I am a kind-hearted, caring individual with a bubbly personality with a passion for living life to the fullest. I consider myself to be a spiritually grounded woman which has allowed me to extend much compassion towards my fellow man. I have served as a caregiver in many different capacities: presently as a caregiver for my elderly mother and formerly as a caregiver for my father, 18 teenage boys that were assigned to my therapuetic foster group home, my 7 grandkids, and 2 residential treatment facilities that I use to work in. Hello! I'm Lilly, I found my love for caregiving at a young age. My closest friend and mentor was paralegic. I saw how it affected everything in her life and I learned how important it was for her to receive the proper care. My hope is that I can do the same for others too.

I love working with people and helping them with everyday needs. I am a Psych Tech with the Texas State Guard. I became a CNA to care for my parents.

I believe the things that makes me an excellent caregiver is my empathy and history with disabilities. My father was diagnosed with Parkinson disease when I was 8 years old and diagnosed with alzeimers when I was 13-14. I spent most of my time from the age of 8 learning how to care for my father and keeping him active. The thing I most enjoy about being a caregiver is the fact that it makes a difference in someone's life. It can make somebody's day if they have company. Daily activities aren't so stressful and it can help seniors feel comfortable. Lastly, A personal achievement I'm proud of is my time in the navy with 2 deployments.

My love for the elderly makes me feel happy working for them. I like to see them smiling and happy! I am proud of being a good mother of my three kids, a good wife and a good daughter.

I'm an certified nurse assistant. I have been an nurse assistant for 5 years. I take pride in my skills and knowledge in this field. I respect my residents and give the care I will hope to receive.
