I love that I have the compassion to care for others when they need it. I love to be able to help. ever since I was young all I wanted to do is be there for others who don't have anyone or simply just need a extra hand in need. What I enjoy most is being able to make a difference in someone's life even if it's the smallest things. I'm a single mother and at times I had to work two jobs to provide for my child an I and my greatest achievement has been getting into our own apartment and being able to provide for my child.

My name is Rebecca, Im a 20 year old single mom of a 2 year old boy. I have no college experience I did go to Lone Star College for my GED I am still studying to pass my test. I live with my 2 grandparents, my grandfather has diabetes and alsimers runs in his family and he has the starting stages of it. My grandma has a broken hip and i do everything to help her/them. My great grandma (has passed away a few years ago) she was completely depended on a care give and being i was a younger girl at the time i helped out in everyway that i could. Im sure im not the ideal person to be picked to help care for your loved one because of my age and education but i would love the chance to prove i am the right person for the job. I have a small 2005 Toyota Camery so if they have a big wheelchair me driving them around might not be able to work, Im up to do grocery shopping, cleaning around the house, playing games/just keeping your loved one entertained, i can help with exercises and bathing/grooming. I love elderly people for startes they'velived through so much they have so many stories to tell and so much advice to give. Monday-Friday I am able to work from 5:30pm-8pm Saturday, Im able to work any hours Sunday, i can work from anytime to 7pm.

As a Nurse Aide I do so much more then just looking after my patients and attending to their every need. It's My Calling ! GOD has given me such a caring and compassionate heart with a natural willingness to Nurture, which has allowed me to foster bonds that always give me purpose in life... They become just like family

I am a great caregiver because I'm compassionate, caring, understanding, very detailed, responsible. I have lots of experience in taking care of individuals with intellectual disabilities and elderly disable. Assisting them with daily living skills in the home environment as well as group home environment and adult day center environment. I understand that my help is needed and I learned that years ago when assisting with my grandmother and my mother n law first hand as well as others within the community.

The reason why I chose this path is because I have always been in Health Care field starting with geriatrics and psychiatric. I care about helping people and making an impact and this field allows you to do just that. I discovered at a young age that I always wanted to help anyone that I saw and asked for my assistance and I have always been a compassionate person.

I have years of personal family experience as well as volunteering at old folks/Alzheimers units. I've also worked in dietary at a skilled nursing home. My personal passion is just caring and keeping folks comfortable in possibly their last days with respect and dignity

Never having parents, I grew up with my grandparents and great-grandparents. I've spent most of my life caring for the elderly. I'm an 'old soul' and just love being around these experienced and wise people. I've taken care of people in their 90's since I was about 8 years old! Although I have a good steady job now, I want to do something that will be more personally rewarding. I love the idea of waking up in the morning knowing that someone is looking forward seeing me. I am single and have no children, so will be able to fully commit myself.
