I love working with individuals and families to help them feel comfortable in their own home. I offer compassionate care, attuned support, and individualized options based on their interests and goal. Sometimes that is reminiscing on the good 'ole days, or making their favorite soup growing up, or creating a home environment that fits their current needs, like moving things around so their mobility devices can fit easily. I really like to encourage mobility exercises, when appropriate. Sometimes that looks like a walk across the living room, or down the block, or perhaps a local park if we're feeling up to it. I also love to find the positives and celebrate the win of the day, and acknowledge the hardships. I feel that acknowledging difficulties help clients to feel heard and understood. I like to help clients notice what is going on today. Notice how they feel today. I am also proficient in taking notes on clients condition, diet, medications, achievements of the day, and more. I enjoy making clients lives easier so they can enjoy more of their favorites.

The reason I would consider myself to be a great caregiver is because I am naturally a nurturer, I feel the need to make everyone comfortable, I go above and beyond to make sure all the things that need to get done are done and that the people that I'm taking care of our happy and feel confident in my care. I guess I became attracted to being a caregiver when my grandfather got sick and he got a stroke I learned all the things that needed to be done towards helping him feel independent. What I enjoy most about caregiving is the give-and-take. I learned so much from the people I meet no matter what the ages and it intern teaches me about myself. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I read my son to become a fantastic human being and be caring towards others Because he's always watched me do it. Im a very patient, outgoing and caring person. I can't help but treat every patient as if they were a member of my family. I first started my career in the industry working in a hospital as a Patient Care Assistant in a recovery room for transplants and open heart surgeries. I quickly learned that caring for people was a passion. My purpose in life is to help others, I have the ability to create bonds and trust in short periods of time. I have been the one to call to deal with even the most difficult patients, and somehow win them over. I'm sincere, honest , and believe that in this job reliability is the most important.

I started in healthcare at age 17 in a local nursing home close to where I lived. I have always known that caring for others is my calling. Hi my name is Cynthia and I am 19 old! I come from a family that taught me the value and beauty of family and serving others with the best heart . In complete honesty, if you hire me I'm going to focus on being loving and compassionate and just simply being a good friend but I will also take all the responsibilities given to me very seriously.
