I love to smile ,laugh and enjoy helping people. After seeing a caregiver help my big sister that's what attracted me to caregiving. Being a caregiver I enjoy the interaction of helping different people and in turn I get to learn lots of things from them too. Am proud of being a caregiver, I think it's the best job in the world.

Hello my name is valencia and I am a registered nurse looking for part time in home position. I have experience working with the elderly. I also have experience working with people with dementia. I'm 17 years old and striving towards my goal of being a EMT at the end of 2021.A personal achievement that I'm proud of is getting my CNA at 16 years old in my hometown of Twin Falls, ID. I love working with others and being a great companion. I can do most to all ADL's but I also love to have fun with my patients and new friends! I am a people person, I could spark up a conversation with just about anybody. I love helping others and it runs in my family. For the past 4 generations my family has worked in the medical field and loved it. I'd love to carry on with new individuals close to my new home! Unfortunately I am not certified as a nursing assistant in the state of Oklahoma but I am certified in Idaho. I still obtain my CPR and FirstAid certificates in the state of Oklahoma.

Hello! I am a CNA with a current and up to date license with med certificate. First aid and CPR certified as well. Over 10+ years of experience working and caring for all different illness types. ALS,Dementia, cancer, Alzheimer's, j-tube, g-tube, If electric/manual lifts, MD, epilepsy and almost anything else. I'm a mother to a little girl thats 9 years old and just adopted a 14-year-old boy. Currently work caring for elderly with dementia and Alzheimer Just looking to maybe help others as well that aren't currently in assistant living homes. My caregiving began 19 years ago when I was 18 and earned my CNA. I worked in convalescent hospitals acquiring a lot of knowledge and experience. Later I excepted a caregiving position in a residential setting and quickly learned how much more satisfying one on one care can be. Whether I'm doing companion care, end of life care or anything in between, I truly enjoy doing it. What makes me a great and awesome caregiver is that I care. I love to help others.

As a young teenager, I was always the person who was called on to help my grandmothers. Before I was old enough to work, I was sitting with kids. That alone and helping my grandmothers is the reason I do what I do, as of today. I am a very compassion, caring, dependable, trustworthy, determined, confident, patient, supportive caregiver. Helping others is my passion. I really feel like this is my purpose. In 2019 I graduated Blue Cliff College as a Certified Medical Assistant. I am very proud of myself for that achievement. I am now taking steps in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant as well.

I spent most of my adult working life in high stress positions. When my mom had an accident in 2017, I left my job to take care of her. My dad then had a stroke the following year and required assistance. Over the next 5 years I cared for them, medications, doctors, grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry etc. They reached a point in 2021 that they needed more care and we moved them to a memory care unit. My dad passed March of 2022. My mom is still there but doesn't know me. She has advanced Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. I couldn't expect my parents to pay me, so I took and passed a CNA course in 2020 and have been doing in home (self employed). I just lost a client a month ago which was harder than I thought it would be. I cared for him 3-4 days per week from 9a-1p. He was diabetic and I completed additional training to learn how to test his blood and administer insulin. My other client is an amazing lady and who just turned 90 November 2022. She is legally blind but mobile. She tells everyone I am her eyes. I work for her Monday - Saturday 2pm -8pm. I love what I do. I miss my dad daily but by helping others to be able to stay in their homes is my goal. I am available for any questions.
