I come from a long line of caregivers and spent much of my childhood assisting with caring for hurt or sick family and friends. I have always loved it and find life has more meaning when you're able to help someone else. To be there when they are in a difficult time, or to help them transition into the next life is an honor that I don't take on lightly. I was a CNA who worked in care homes and decided that wasn't my cup of tea. I value getting to spend time with the person and giving them as much autonomy as possible. I transitioned into private home care some years ago here and there but transitioned to full time care giving in 2019 and it was the best choice I've ever made.

I enjoy caring for people if I can make the day easier for them and put a smile on their face then that puts a smile on my face... I like helping people. Being able to make someone else life easier. After being out of school for 30+ years, it was easy to get back into the grove again. I enjoy helping people & animals. If I see someone who needs help, I will help them or offer my assistance. I'm friendly, outgoing person. I enjoy walking in the woods. I have 2 cats, 2 dogs & 4 hens. I like learning & doing new things.

I have undergone a CNA training, special education and practical nursing. I have been in the health care for 8 years improving each time and never stop learning from people i worked with. Nursing has always been a satisfying and most fulfilling experience i have ever done. I can see myself doing nursing care until i can't do it anymore.
