I have a kind and caring personality. I enjoy helping others that is what attracted me to the caregiver position. I am looking forward to meeting my next client and being a positive part of their life.

I'm Bree, I'm a compassionate caregiver with experience caring for those in need. I do assistants with daily living activities and household tasks. I'm patient, energetic and organized. I'm skilled at managing schedules and keeping clients as active as possible (Body and mind). I engaged clients with gentle activities such a going for a walk, physical therapy, working on puzzles, reading and painting. I manage clients schedules and accompany them to appointments( I document everything). I provide companionship to clients to help with their emotional well-being. I have done meditation administration to those on hospice or those that can not take meds themselves. I finished school for patient care technician in 2021. I have a wide range of care experience from. Autism, quadriplegics, hospice care, sundowners, dementia, MS, stroke patients, to people with cancer. I absolutely love what I do and I take care of my clients as if they were my family.

I have been a licensed CNA for over 15 years. I have worked with a number of clients over the years. Which includes a tetraplegic for over 10 years strokes clients , clients with dementia and Parkinson's. During my 15 years I have developed a lot of various tools and knowledge to assist and help my clients. I was the nurse manager for my client who was a tetraplegic she passed away in March of 2023 . I was also the lead nurse manager for another family for 11 months. My management skills have developed throughout my career. I am very dependable and have excellent references.

I have always enjoyed taking care of others. I had a home daycare for 16 years, registered with the state of Texas. I have worked off and on for several years doing home health with agencies ad well as private families. I have also worked at the Mexia State School. Now, I work at the local highschool as a paraeducation aide in the life skills class. At all of these jobs I have worked with both well individuals and individuals with mental and or physical handicaps. For the last 3 years I have been the caregiver for my grandma who suffers from dementia.

I have been a CNA since I was 16, recently I have moved on to completing school for Medical Technician (CCMT). I love being a caregiver because I love being the voice people need and being able to help people grow, recovery, and live a comfortable life despite any ailments and disabilities. I left my career as a hearing specialist to care for my parents before they passed. I have specialized and extensive care with Alzheimer's/Dementia , Parkinson's, Cancer, and diabetic patients. My duties included cognitive and physical stimulation, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medicine management, companionship, assist with feeding, dressing, showering and toileting, running errands, transportation to appointments, all housework, laundry, and other nursing duties. I enjoy taking my clients on day trips to museums, picnic in the park, long walks, going to church or out to eat, or staying in watching tv or doing crafts and puzzles.
