I currently hold my CNA license which comes with being trained in many fields of how to care for resident, and or patient who are in long term ,short term, and rehabilitation care facilities. Being a compassionate and caring person whom enjoy helping those who aren't always able to help them selves is what motivated me to become a CNA /Care provider. Helping someone receive the care they need and showing that you care is what i enjoy the most being a care provider. Receiving my CNA license is the best achievement I accomplished so far.

I am a very caring and loving person who loves to help others in any way I can. Being a caregiver brings joy to my heart knowing that I can be there for someone and care for them is the best feeling. I love seeing people happy.

For a personality trait I'd say I'm caring towards the elderly and thoughtful of my words. I also go out of my way to make sure any person is comfortable and happy. No matter what I do I try my best and give it one-hundred and ten percent. I started caregiving for my great grandma when she had cancer for over a year before she passed away. I realized that I need to be one after I saw how much of a nice job to have to care and help other people. I mostly enjoy the interaction of not only the resident/patient but also the family being happy to know the patient is taken care of and being payed attention to. I enjoy to make the family and resident happy with my work I do for them. My personal achievement is making one resident I had finally open up to me one day. She was sad she was the only family she had left and that no one visits her anymore. And she wanted to leave this earth. I reminded her that the Lord has her here for a reason and we are always here for her. She just needed someone to talk to and I was happy to be there for her.

Hey! My name is Kiersten. Im 30 years old. I have about 6 years of experience working with disabled/elderly patients. Im certified in CPR and First aid. I have experience driving handicapped vehicles, My first job in this field was taking care of my grandmother. I helped her for the last 3 years she was alive. When i first started helping her out she fell and broke her hip and she never really fully recovered from that. She went on to have 2-3 strokes. She had dementia, and just wasnt the wonderful loving woman she once was. By the end of it all she couldnt walk at all. I would have to wheel her to the bathroom and get her on and off of the toilet. Pick her up and sit her in her favorite chair, and feed her. It was very very hard.
