How I became a caregiver I was a paint contractor for 25 years I went to a nursing home and was painting the inside of it and Talked with the owner into letting me paint each hallway a different color and sponge paint and the elderly people fell in love with it and I fell in love with them and then I felt like God was telling me this is what I need to do so I prayed about it and that's how I became a caregiver. I'm very reliable I have a great personality and I worked for Home Instead senior care for eight years and only called in sick one time

I became a caregiver because of my mother's illnesses. What makes me an excellent caregiver is having empathy and passion when caring for others. I love that I'm able to provide care for others in the privacy of there own home. I am proud of knowing every day I'm providing my client's happiness and comfort on a daily basis.

I'm a caring and knowledgeable CNA. I've worked with the geriatric population since I was 12! I started volunteering at the nursing home my mother was working at as the social worker. I've been a CNA since I was 18 years old. I'm very understandable about the effects of Alzheimer's and dementia and how it changes your loved one. I have said for years that working with "old people" is my calling. It's what I do best. I'm currently working on getting my nursing license but this will not interfere with my ability to be at work when I'm supposed to be. I'd love to care for your loved one!

I'm a single mother of three wonderful children my youngest was born on life support and was epileptic which led me to become a caregiver. From the age of 13 I had cared for a close family member which was epileptic and was on disability I had moved in with her in high school to be her caregiver at that point in time I knew that I cared for others more than most as my friends were out going to the movies and going skating I chose to spend my time at home caring for another human being. As long as I can remember I have always taken care of someone and started out in the mental health dealing with individuals with special needs and being able to care for someone else that is unable to care for themselves touches my heart I'm truly lead to be in this field.

I was a CNA in NC/SC for 12 years and I was a resident assistant and med tech 2 years prior to becoming a CNA. I have experience in Home Health, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living , Hospice, and Alzheimer's Units. I am very compassionate about caring for others, and I care for others the way I would want myself or my family cared for. The happiness I can bring to others and the smiles I can put on someones face brings so much joy to me. I have had a passion for helping others since I was in elementary school and I still have the same passion today. Being able to help others and bring a smile to their faces and be someone they have to just be there to talk to or listen gives me so much joy. I can do meal prep, bathing, feeding, changing and turning, housekeeping, run errands, medication, and companionship.
