LOVING WHAT I DO I don't believe many people can say that and truly mean it, but I CAN!! For 15 plus years I have enjoyed watching over and caring for OUR Elderly in Facilities as well as there Homes with responsibilities including Managing Home & Medical Care Daily Care Sheet Reports Dr Appts and Scripts Ordering Medical Supplies Assisting with Transfers Nutrition & Meal Planning Hygiene & Personal Care Housekeeping & Home Maintenance Transportation Entertainment and SO much more and I can elaborate, if needed on any of the above job responsibilities I held while assisting those whom have made this wonderful life possible for Me and I am So Blessed to have not only found My passion in life, but make a career of it.

what makes me a great caregiver is that I have alot of empathy and compasion for my patients. What attracted me to be a caregiver is that theres alot of patients that need help and I like to be there for them to help them in what ever needs they have. I attended Career Point College in 2013 and completed my CNA certification with a 4.0 GPA. I also was apart of the LVN program there as well, but I did not complete it. While at Career Point, we did go to different facilities to practice skills and get our certifications. I have worked in a variety of different settings; hospitals, nursing homes, memory care units, facilities for adults with disabilities, and I have done a lot of home care. During my experience in the facilities, I gained hands-on experience in providing care and company to disabled and elderly clients. I have a demonstrated ability to administer bedside and personal attention to clients including aid in ambulation, bathing, personal cleanliness, and dressing and undressing. Also, I am very expert in preparing meals and special diets and helping in feeding clients. I am experienced with using lifts, transferring and lifting. As a compassionate and trustworthy individual, I can perform regular health-related activities including changing non-sterile dressings and managing medications. I am also adept at performing routine household duties; laundry, washing dishes and making beds. I care for everyone as if they were my own sweet grandma.

I am an empathetic caregiver who enjoys helping others. I wanted to become a caregiver because I always been interested in the healthcare field. I gravitated towards being someone who can provide her skills to those who are in need. I enjoy knowing that I am helping people live more independent lives through compassion and care. I am proud to state I have a completed college degree in speech pathology learning about disorders within all populations including geriatric. I am very fond of health conditions.

I love getting to know my residents and taking the time out to listen to them. Simply listen. Getting my CNA is the best thing ive ever done and i cant wait to further my education.

I've been a caregiver for a few years now I believe what makes me love my job that much more because I help take care of my Great Grandmother for a number of years. I gained lots of understanding, compassion, and empathy. What I enjoyed most was the long talks we had to the wisdom she instilled in me. I love to take care of someone elder grandparents like I would want someone to take care of my grandmother with lots of patience and understanding.

I love to help people and to where they still feel they have their independence. I'm loving and somewhat sift spoken, but am able to raise voice if needed. I'm very kind hearted. I became a caregiver, because ever sense I was 12 years old that's all I could see myself wanting to do in my life is help others. Hello. I am the oldest child of 4, I was born into a caregiver role. I originally thought I wanted to be a nurse, however while in nursing school I realized that I would never be able to give my patients the time and attention I felt they deserved. I enjoy helping people. The satisfaction of knowing someone actually cares about their well being and listens to what they have to say means a lot to me. My own personal success story happened while matched with a child who after about a year had a total personality change, became affectionate towards others, no longer was,violent, and began to enjoy activities and the company of others.

Sadly, cancer took him away at the young age of 59. I enjoy getting to spend time with my residents and getting to know them.
