I've been an hha for 5years. I absolutely love what I do . I'm a very hard worker I have an awsome bubbly personality an also I'm very outgoing. I stick to what needs to be done. I never slack off an get distracted on other things. I'm a fast learner if there's a certain routine that needs to be done.

I am a fun loving honest individual that has a natural way with animals children and seniors. I have participated in the raising of many children, several with special needs as well as senior or end of life care. I have experience with diabetes, dementia, memory care, stroke, amputee and end of life care. I believe in the power of laughter and positive encouragement. I grew up knowing that I wanted to be like my idol, my grandmother, who was a RN. I knew when I was a candy striper in my teens that iI wanted to continue to take care of those who couldn't because of the feeling of helping a patient get better or die with dignity and not alone filled my soul with gratitude that I was given the opportunity to make a difference in their live by God. When i was 20 I was married and my husband did not want me to do that kind of,work so I was in Retail Management for over 25 years. When I was no longer married I went to school and received my CNA License and I was able to fill my heart and soul again with that peace that I receive from helping others and when they sincerely thank me I am still overwhelmed with happiness. Dignity is a huge part of a person's happiness and to help with that juat completes me. I do hope to go further with my education in the medical field and become a RN. I have an Associate's Degree in Business Management. Other than that I love animals, the ocean/beach, riding horses and a good book. I am a,Christian, however when working with a patient I respect their believes.

How I became a caregiver I was a paint contractor for 25 years I went to a nursing home and was painting the inside of it and Talked with the owner into letting me paint each hallway a different color and sponge paint and the elderly people fell in love with it and I fell in love with them and then I felt like God was telling me this is what I need to do so I prayed about it and that's how I became a caregiver. I'm very reliable I have a great personality and I worked for Home Instead senior care for eight years and only called in sick one time
