I became a caregiver because I love helping people. Assisting others in their recuperation brings me great satisfaction. I I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families. One of my proudest personal achievements is coming to a new country and being able to assimilate and become a productive member of this culture. I am a mother of 3 children with 5 grandchildren. In my spare time I spend time in my grandchildren and often work in my garden. I also spend a lot of my free time fishing in the Tampa Bay area.

I believe I am a great caregiver because of my genuine love and compassion for the senior population. I have over 25 years of caring and giving of service in all areas of geriatric care. I also have experience in the mental health field as I desired to learn and know more of mental health issues in those I cared for. I started as a CNA in 1979 and through my career advanced in many different areas, as well as going private duty so as to give my client's the best that they deserved and one on one tailored care. I am very dependable and honest. Caring for others has been the main focus of my life since childhood, and I've worked in healthcare for the last 30 years. I seek to improve the life of those I care for by doing little things that will make them happy. I am CPR certified, current as of Jan 2021. I prefer private duty over facility care since it provides much more one on one assistance to clients. I have cared for a 92yr old named Mabel a few years ago until she left us to become an angel. She was stubborn and sweet and I miss her so very much. I love helping people and making people smile. I've been caring for seniors for about 11 years now and always making sure they were treated with genuine love, dignity, respect, and loyalty. I always love the seniors. I treat them as if they were my parents or grand parents. I cook for them, clean, make sure all their needs are met, go for walks, laugh with them, talk with them, read to them, play puzzles and card games, listen to music, and the list goes on.
