I became a caregiver at 15 when my grandfather needed 24 hr care. I then cared for my grandmother after he passed away. I continued to work in this field with agencies and private duty once I became 18. I also worked in a couple facilities including a hospice center and a memory care home.

As an occupational therapy student, I have education and clinical experience regarding neurological disorders, age-related cognitive changes, anatomy and physiology, as well as individual psychosocial factors. I desire to provide client-centered, compassionate, and safe care as a caregiver and to work collaboratively with the client and family members.

I am currently working in mental health with children with ASD disorders while I am currently working on my BA in Psychology. My main goal is to be able to work with the elderly as well.

I am a compassionate person who enjoys caring for others who have a difficult time doing things they used to he able to do. I am preparing for soon one day having to care for my mom. I enjoy the reward of seeing peace, comfort and contentment on the face of those I work for. I am proud that I am a certified teacher and have taught for over 20 years.

I am a very quiet person but very intuitive. I have always enjoyed taking care of people. I am very observant, empathetic and compassionate. I enjoy getting to know my client and their family and I believe one personal achievement I am proud of is being there for families when their loved one is coming to the end of their life journey. Just being able to give love and support.

I had a very close relationship with my grandmother before she passed and cared for her, this inspired me to pursue my dream of nursing. My self driven characteristic to help others rewarded me with having my CNA license by the age of 18. I understand that caregiving is challenging; however, with my past experiences, I have grown with patience, problem solving skills, and compassion.

I enjoy watching how my patients improve through their hospital stay. In my department helping my patients with their ADLs is huge part of my responsibilities and one of my personal favorite. In these moments I'm not only part of the treatment of a diagnosis but I get to engage with my patient. I get to learn the fears, worries, their likes and dislikes. I also get to learn ways to motivate them to try harder, within their limits of course. Therefore, caregiving has attracted me because it is what already do in a high intense environment and being able to provide that care in the comfort of my patients home can only have greater positive results to not only help with their ADLs but also provide a better quality of life and care.

I am a motivated and results-focused Healthcare Administrator and Event Planning Professional with experience in streamlining administrative operations at small and large healthcare organizations. Taking care of the elderly, especially those with intellectual disabilities, has become a very passionate venture for me. It is great to see their achievements and watch them overcome their challenges when possible. I am a healthcare professional with over 17 years hands-on experience as an office healthcare administrator and later a caregiver, with a consistent track record of successfully employing best healthcare practices that improve efficiency, reduce operating costs whilst increasing productivity to tight time scales and within budget.

Caregiving is one of the loves of my life. Being a Special Educator specializing in Autism and senior care provider for 20 years formed my love for this craft. I am also a licensed CNA so I have experience with a myriad of medical concerns as well. This field is natural for me it's what I am meant to do on this earth. My name is Rebecca cantave and I've been a caregiver for 10 years I love working with people. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love making people happy I love helping patients feel like they're independent even though they're not I love having conversations about life and making everyone comfortable.

I come from a huge family where my mother is the strong matriarch strong and healthy, I am very lucky. My grandmother's suffered with parkinson's, cancer, and strokes. The rest home stay really disconnected our family from her. I'd like to help families and patients stay connected while providing exceptional caregiving services. Independence is hard to lose, especially day to day existence. Respect and compassion is me in two words. I'm hoping to help my patients live the best the can.

I have worked with special needs students in the Arlington district from 2009 to 2015, in which I transferred over to Grand Prairie district. I am currently finishing up school to earn my BA in Education, 12/2020 will be when I am done. I also have worked for 2 daycare's working with a range of age groups 6 months to 12 years of age. I also cared for my grandmother while she lived with us till she went onto hospice. I am a single mother with 2 boys (9) (13). I have a drive to do the best I can, I lots of patience, I have always cared to members of my family and students I have worked with. I did work at Arlington Memorial Hospital for a while in housekeeping.

Taking care of and hanging out with the elderly is LITERALLY my day job. I have extensive experience with the elderly who may have anxiety about this new stage of aging. I love this population- I want to keep your loved one safe and content when you're away, to provide you the peace of mind you deserve.

I am a devout Christian. I am loyal and have a passion to help those in need. I love all things science. I am easy going and love all animals. I worked for Hospice and Home Health for the past 10 years as a Liaison. Now I'm back in school to earn my Nursing Degree
