Because I enjoy taking care of people, putting a smile on their face,its very rewarding. I became acaregiver to help my mother in her adult foster home and later took over the foster home. I am very proud of the way I take care of my clients, I treat them with love and respect, which they deserve. I am a very loving and careing person and enjoy making people happy. The feeling of taking care of a person to the end and helping them there hard times is very rewarding to me,the last lady I took care of was for 8year's and just lost her February 9th

As a newly divorced Mother of six, I must be honest and say financial stability is my main motivation in working. I love my children dearly, and if I could, would choose to stay home and care for them. Fortunately, it is that same dedication and love for my children which drives me to succeed now, and if given the opportunity would implement those same standards within your residence. Although I am a beginner CNA, I am an expert in the field. Not only through my children, but also with my Mother who was a Senior Registered Nurse for over 35 years. I have also assisted a paraplegic relative, and a neighbor after hip surgery. I understand the caution in your decision, and do not envy it. Presently, I can only affirm my character and work ethic, and I ask for your permission to prove it.

I am already a caregiver. I like the fact that i am a person that people can count on when they need help or just need someone to talk to. An achievement that i am proud of is being memorable. In 6 years i haven't had a person or their family complain about my work. I am very considerate. I think that you should take everything about a person into consideration especially their feelings since you will never know how they are truly feeling about themselves or condition.

I became a caregiver because I was attending college at the time and it was in the same field I was going into so I started taking care of the elderly and I fell in love with my job, making my clients happy and feel good made me feel incredible. I treat everyone one of the clients as if they were my grandparents and make sure they need nor want for anything on my watch. I have been doing this for 18 years, I am a certified Home Health Aid, Caregiver, and Medication Technician I also have my adult CPR and FIRST AID cards along with infant and children training as well.

I have always been passionate about helping the aging adult population. I consider myself to be a progressing advocate with a strong purpose of protecting older adults. Being a caregiver is an honor, it's all about putting away your needs to assist others. I am currently continuing my education on a bachelor's in gerontology, because I want to know all I can do to help others age successfully, and have a positive experience during their current stage in life.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I go far beyond to provide my clients with the best quality of care. As a caregiver, my resident needs come first, and I make sure their health care needs are met. I first became interested in elderly care at the age of 11, I was a volunteer at a residential care facility where my Aunt worked. Later, at the age of 15, I became a dietary aide at another local residential care facility. Then, at the age of 18, I received my certificate as a State Tested Nurses Aide (STNA) and been working in the field for over 10+ years. I guess you can say I always had a passion for working with senior citizens and the elderly. I guess being raised by my great-grandmother taught me how to have compassion and patience for older people. What I enjoy most when it comes to being a caregiver is seeing my clients happy and relieved knowing their loved ones are being provided the best quality of care possible and seeing their healthcare needs taken care of. My greatest personal achievement is my children and obtaining my bachelor's degree in health care.

First of all, I am a family oriented person. I am married and the mother of four adult children. I am grandmother to two. I enjoy working with the elderly and children. Caring for people has always been my interest. I enjoy talking and listening to people. I like to take care of people while still helping them be independent. I am generally a happy and pleasant person who takes pride in everything that I do. It's important to be professional in any job, but the main reason I love home health care is that this position revolves around compassion. From the moment I walk into your home my focus is not only fulfilling your needs, but to also make your quality of life better. I am childcare expert educater and caregiver but my expertise can extend to any position offered. I became a early childhood educator because I am passionate about the importance of all children's upbringing and future endeavors. I became a caregiver to care for elderly grandparents. When I visited family friends at various convalescent homes and viewed the below average care it broke my heart. Why am I a caregiver? Because I love people and I want to help people to meet their daily physical needs when they are not able to do so on their own. What I like about being a Caregiver is being able to give them the feeling that they are still people, they are still somebody and I want them to know that I care, I also want them to be able to talk to me about anything. My personal achievement that I am proud of is when my brother was ill and I had to become his caregiver. I would not change that moment for nothing in the world. I still had a full time job but I still came home after long hours of work to take care of him and relief my sister after she has been there with him all day. As I was his caregiver I watch him go from worst to better, not only by caring for him but by loving and making sure he get what he needed so as bath, meals, medicine, making calls to the hospice service when there was a certain need that I was not able to meet. I felt so happy but sad at the same time, just knowing that i made a difference in his life- sad to see him go through. But with the grace and mercy of God I made it through.
