I moved here from California! I was a caregiver for my school San Diego state university. I loved doing my job helping some one become independent and making sure there need are meat and they remain happy and well taken care of.

I am a Christian woman, non-smoker, with a love for the elderly. I love helping people take good care of themself and enjoy life. I also love interacting with people and seeing them laugh and smile. I am a patient, compassionate, caring, and loving person.

I feel that it is our responsibility to care for those in need, whether they be family or strangers, disabled, sick, or elderly. I began caring for people at a young age (10). My grandmother was disabled (prosthetic leg). My grandfather had been on g-tube feedings for 15 years at that point and I helped with those. In 2005 I obatined my CNA 1 license and worked at WakeMed Hospital in the Rehab department. I helped those who had been in car accidents or who had recently had knee and hip replacements. I helped them with activitites of daily living. While employed there I gained experience with hoyer lifts, gait belts, catheters, prostethic limbs, and other medical devices. I worked with pateints suffered from dementia and alzheimers. I was also given the opportunity to work with people who were under Hospice care. I helped make their last days as pleasant and comfortable as possible. In 2006 I began working for the department of corrections. I worked in the hospital facility where I was exposed to more medical and health issues/needs and continued to help people on a daily basis. I currently work for the Department of Public Safety (Formerly Department of Corrections) as a supervisor (custody, not health care). I would like an opportunity to help people like I was able to in the past. It brings joy to my life (an hopefully to those that I help) when I am able to assist them with accomplishing simple things that most people take for granted such as brushing their hair and teeth

Hello, my name is Ashley Robinson 27 years old from Marion, SC. I am an online student at Ashford University studying Elementary Education. I have a heart and a great passion for children and elderly people. I provided care for my great grandmother until the state saw that I couldn't care for her anymore because her health was severely failing. I gave care such as bathing, feeding, changing, doctor appointments, hospital stays, etc. I love being able to give my love for some who's in need and knowing that I put a smile on their face.

I am a great caregiver because I am compassionate and I have integrity. I've been working in home care for over 7 years and I strive to make a difference in people's lives and wish to continue to do so. I have experience doing personal care, home making and even meeting higher medical needs. I am friendly, professional and truly care about your comfort, needs and well-being. I am proud of obtaining my Associates degree and am currently working toward my BA in Human services. I like to stay busy and currently go to school full-time online, I am fun, down to earth and a very loving person who wishes everyone a higher quality of life.

I became a care giver because i really wanted to help families. I remember my grandmother suffering from diabetes when I was younger and the family had such a time delegating who should go and when, it was horrible she lost her foot because everyone had to work and no attention was really given., just the quick Hello's and Goodbyes, it was sad, but now I understand what all families go through and when i lost my mom three years ago I was working for Vising Nurses and Hospice care out of Santa Barbara and the volunteers were here with my mom when I had to work. I sympathize with families and have the utmost respect. I know wholeheartedly all that they endure emotionally mentally and physically.

I'm very detailed and willing to help. I took care of both my parents before they passed away. I enjoy helping others, it gives me a sense of purpose. I'm proud that have the strength and mobility to help others.

I have always had a passion for putting people first.It makes it worthwhile to see someone's else happiness. There's no greater reward to see a smile or see genuine happiness and witness a carefree safe and fullfilling life. We all know actions speak louder than words, I can show this in my everyday performance.
