I am a mother of six children, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. My enthusiasm and careful work habits make me an individual who is willing to care for children and adults of all ages and cultures. I have experience in teaching two year olds in the preschool setting as well as home daycare and owner of a daycare. I also have two degrees, one in Medical Assistants and recently an Associate of Science, in Nursing; I have certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). My multitasking skills and critical thinking will be quite essential in the position of home health care giver and nanny. I have excellent communications skills; I’m very outgoing, and with my flexible availability, give me the willingness to be able to adjust to changes. Hello, I've been a caregiver for 8 yrs I enjoy what I do and knowing that I'm able to help someone who needs it. I was also a caregiver for my parents I cared for them at home and made them as comfortable as I could. To be a caregiver I believe you have to have patience and be compassionate, if u don't have patience to care for seniors then I don't think people should do it. I have worked with people with Alzheimer's and Dementia. At the end of the day I go home and happy with myself that I was able to help someone and be a good companion.

Because of my great grandmother I spent a lot time with when I was growing up and I said one I want become a nurse. What I like about being a caregiver is getting to know the family and the patient. When I got my patient to do something that another caregiver could do , getting to eat and let them be independent. When I was a teenager my grandmother was ill and my parents refused to send her to a nursing home so of course we couldn't have that.
