I always liked to be with kids, adults and the elderly. I fell in love with caring for someone else when I offered to be with my father in law when he became sick. I used to go to the hospital several times per day to check up on him. When he went home from the hospital I stayed and took care of him until he passed away. I was there when he transition to hospice care. I was there for him day and night, just the two of us. Here was 89 years old. To be of assistance to soneone in that stage of his life was an eye opener as far as the real needs of a person at that crucial time provided me with serenity in my heart to have given the best care to him. I became stronger and I feel at peace when I think of hiim in heaven. I am a compassionate, respectful, responsible with a smile in my face and always striving for the best outcome at all times. I deeply appreciate ones privacy, dignity and confidentiality. I make sure that I report any changes or events that happened during my shift. I understand someone's need of pet therapy and I embrace it (except for reptile and wild animals :) ) I am a non smoker, non drinker and have a great driving record.

i lived with my grandmother who had partial stroke for many years and enjoyed assisting her with her daily activities.i enjoy helping people now as a CNA and hope to do more when i finally become a social worker in the future . My mum got an accident many years ago, she couldn't walk or speak. She had no one to take care of her. I took care of her for more than one year. That's how i learned and i loved to take care of people and i decided to be a caregiver. I am very passionate concerning care giving. I am a dynamic and enthusiastic caregiver. I enjoy working with seniors and helping them live a normal quality life. In Africa we naturally take care of our parents so doing the same is a joy. Seeing a parent who have raised their children being well taken care of in their old age is in itself a blessing. I am a natural nurturer and I do it effortlessly. 10years ago, I used to take Care of my grand mother. I was so attached to her ; then all of sudden she died at the age of 106 after being sick for one week. So I wanted to share the same love I had for her with other people. With 8 years in my career , I have learned so many things from others. I like to be involve in some activities in which elderly people are involved in oder to encourage them. The personal achievement I am proud of is that I grew love and patient in me so that others could relay on me for certain things they need and they are not able to do it for themselves.
