I became a caregiver to satisfy the needs of impaired people or in need. I like when I perform the needs of an impaired person. I was proud when I took some impaired people to the bathroom, feed them and make their beds in an assisted living at the time of my training. And they evaluated me as being a good caregiver. People say about me, " I'm a kind person". And I'm proud of it. I like to make people happy and also I'm open minded.

I became a caregiver because I like to help people and its something I really enjoy doing. The thing I like about being a caregiver is that I get to put a smile on someone face and that I get to meet new people. A personal achievement I am proud of is that I always learn something new about myself. I am outgoing,friendly,dependable,dating, and orazined.

I became a caregiver because i like helping people and helping them solve and resolute their problems and needs. My personal achievement that I am proud of is earning a CNA certification and being able get closer to my goal as a nurse. My name is Salya Cubias, 22 yr old nursing student. Im a certified medication technican (CMT) currently working at a Assisted Living facility. I started working with seniors at the age of 17, as a Activities Assistant in a nursing home. I love what i do, i love taking care of the residents and listening to their life stories.

I have always had a soft spot for the elderly since I was a kid selling Avon and sat talking to someone who wanted to show off their salt n pepper sets! This past year I have spent with a couple who are both 89 years. Thelma had a stroke and required a lot of in home physical therapy which I learned, along with giving her massages. I consider the physical therapy and massage side of this job to be of particular achievement. I fixed all her n husband's meals, did laundry and accompanied her to all doctors, especially to help her in the bathroom. We had a daily routine of showering, dressing and makeup to make her feel good. She is a writer, so I typed up her articles, editing along the way. I have a good sense of humor and would often cheer her up. Sometimes I would give her manicures n do some plucking, whatever was asked! They discovered they could get financial assistance through insurance and reluctantly let me go, due to finances. I have a letter of recommendation from the husband. I'm a people person who is not shy to know new folks. I have worked the front desk of a medical office and generally enjoy the public. Most of my years have been spent behind a desk, but I now prefer something more rewarding and personal. I have always been very responsible, caring, and trustworthy.

I become a cargiver because i love to take care of my grandparents when i was in Africa so it is a lovely job for me. A fun i have doing it makes me like to be a caregiver. I always do my job on time and make a client feels loved and happy. I am very lovely; kind; respectful person that love her job. I am a college student ; married and mother of 3 Kids.

I enjoy and love working with the elderly ever since my mother became ill. I realized the importance of quality home care. The importance of choosing the right person to take care of your love one. I became a caregiver because I enjoy working with people. I treat the whole family. It is important to understand the history of the family in treating the client. I have a lot to offer in the services I provide. I provide exceptional, caring and compassionate love in treating my clients as I would like someone to treat my mom or dad. My personal achievement with clients, is allowing clients to continue with their normal activities such as going to church, movies, dinner and theater. I sometimes take clients out for a drive, showing them the changes in areas where they grew up. I enjoy talking to them and letting them feel that they matter. I am a very caring and understanding person. I have great verbal and written communication skills. I work well with family members in assisting them in understanding what their loved ones are going through by recommending that they attend classes to better understand their love ones disease. Life is 10% broken and 90% what we do to change it.
