Hello I became a caregiver because I lost my grandmother at a early age and the elderly have always been a soft spot in my heart, my dad has dementia and heart disease, I've worked in the retirement living facilities, for about 4 years and a medication aide for one. I love helping others I am returning to college this is my second semester to attain my assoc. degree in social worker or a counselor. I am a caring and helpful person who has a eye for detail at what ever I do, and I love to see others smile.

I became a caregiver to satisfy the needs of impaired people or in need. I like when I perform the needs of an impaired person. I was proud when I took some impaired people to the bathroom, feed them and make their beds in an assisted living at the time of my training. And they evaluated me as being a good caregiver.
