I am a very patient person & easy to work with. I was born into becoming a caregiver I been doing it since 16 years of age. I love interacting and helping people get well.

All my life I've had a passion for people. I truly care about the happiness and well-being of others. Whether it be physical, mental, emotional I have always been concerned about the quality of a persons life. I have acquired many years in the medical field with hands on, face to face service and care for patient. I have since developed a desire care for senior citizens and those with special needs. I find pure joy in helping others, and assuring them that someone truly care about them. I am proud to have been promoted twice in one year, in my current career as phlebotomy service representative. Now being a site lead proves that I have grown and have reached a level of maturity and professionalism. I just desire to have the opportunity to be a helping hand and smiling face, for as many people as possible.

What makes me a great care giver is because I have so much empathy and compassion. ... By showing both empathy and compassion i let the person I am caring for know that I care about the person and want to do what they can to help them. Also Patience. I started as a caregiver in California in 2006. I moved to Las Vegas in March of 2007 and been here since. I received my license as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the College of Southern Nevada in February, 2012. I love people, i love making people happy, i enjoy helping people achieve thier independece in thier lives, even it is a small amounts. I took care of my mother for three years until she passed. she had alzimers, dialitis for kidney failure, and was in a wheelchair and needed help for everything. Plus my sister is dealing with a lung disease and i help her with things.

1. I took up Bachelor of Science-Nursing (Philippines)back 2004-2007. Then I graduated as Nursing Assistant here at College of Southern Nevada at December 2010. Had a few months experience on 2010 on home residential care. 2. I am very passionate taking care of elders. I did took care of my grandparents when I was back home in the Philippines. 3. Having been able to go to school at the United States at my age has been an achievement. It gave me more confidence to face life's challenges and value every single person I met. 4. I am an Asian single mom 41 yrs old born and race in the Philippines and became a US citizen at 2013. I live with my parents and with my 19 yr old son. Took a Bachelor's degree in Nursing but never had the chance to graduate, because I was given the opportunity to work at the Sands Expo Convention Center as a Safety Administrator. I am now unemployed because my position was eliminated and will be willing to take care of the elders again.

I was a caregiver for 14 years, what I love about it , well I love taking care of people. There are may of individuals that are notable to care for themselves , and the fact of knowing that i can be a great help, in their everyday lives , and make them happy and accomplish it is a achievement all in itself. I looked after my Dad for two years when he had liver cancer. Sadly, he passed away from his illness. From that day on, I promised that I would help others in their time of need, especially when their families weren't available. Taking care of people gives me heartfelt joy.
