I love making new relationships with people, not just a few words as we pass each other by. I've worked in the hospital for 20 years now and I love my patients, but I know that God has called me for a greater purpose. I pray that you and I could make a new friendship together.

About 2 years ago I decided to become a caregiver because of the health issues my family members has, I've always seen them being taken care of so well that I wanted to be able to do the same for other families similar to mine. I would consider myself to be an excellent caregiver due to my need to help others. I'm a very Joyful person and that's one thing I love most about being a caregiver, spending time and bonding with the people I work for.

Deeply committed to treating my elderly clients with dignity and respect, my goal is to win their trust and alleviate any embarrassment or anxiety they may feel when needing assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming or other personal care.

My drive for responsibility has only revealed that I am compelled to keep things around me functioning at a perpetual level. I am consistent with tasks that need to be done and I thrive most when I am depended on. I love learning, anything that anyone hands to me I can find a way to work through.

I was in a nursing class al four years in highschool and became CPR AND 1st aid certified. I almost became a CNA but school shut down because of covid. I am in college to become a nurse in the future. My parents work at senior apartments so I've grown up around and helped the elderly. I am a very considerate person who loves to help people.

My personality traits is that, I am compassionate, caring and a good listener. What attracted me being a caregiver, I took care of my mom until the end and believe that is where I need to be, my mom was an RN all her life. When I was young I had already chosen to be a caregiver like my mom. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is a forever friendship resulting in care of other people. My personal achievement I am proud of is that I can and have taken care of people and assisted them to live a little longer by loving them and appreciating them the way it should be in life. Patience is very important for this this type of job because as a future Nurse I will be taking care of people whose health have or are declining so I empathize and sympathize with their situation. Taking care of sick people has never been a problem for me because I've taken care of my parents and family members so I decided to improve my skills by going to school to become a Nurse. Being a caregiver is meant for me, I'm very passionate about what I do. I love to helping mt patients and getting to know them and making them comfortable as if I was there family. I mostly enjoy bonding with the people I take care of. Two of my favorite hobbies are art and writing poems when I'm not doing school work and I'm also a black belt in karate.

I am very lovable and trusting. I live meeting new people and learning about their background. I worked as a caregiver in a group home for a year. At the time, I needed a job but I didn't know i would become so attached to some of the individuals. I still call and check on them from time to time. My greatest achievement was getting my son through high school and to college with a "full ride" scholarship while being a single mother.

Hi im Miesha Brown i have over 12 years experience in the caregiving field an im also a current nursing student.

A few years ago my grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer and dementia. So I moved in with him and took care of him. We would start every day with a shower/ bath, then I would make a good breakfast and give him his medicine. And after a mid morning nap we would drive out on the ranch and find a daily task to do. It was very important to me to keep him engaged in activities that made him happy and gave him life. Even though his mind was slipping it made me so happy to dream about the future with him into his last days. My main motivation is the experience I had visiting my grandpa in the assisted living home and watching him deteriorate mentally, physically and emotionally. If I could help just one person look forward to living and enjoy the time they have that's more than I can ask for.

I have been a caregiver for most of my life, with over 35 years of hands-on experience caring for people of all ages and abilities. I began caregiving at a young age, helping my mother care for her elderly friends, and later for my grandmother. During college, I worked as a nanny for a family, and I also volunteered in hospice care for several years, which deeply shaped my compassion and understanding of end-of-life support. My caregiving experience is broad and well-rounded, ranging from nannying and babysitting to respite care, palliative care, hospice, and end-of-life care. I have supported individuals with terminal cancer, heart failure, diabetes, mental health conditions, and memory-related challenges.
