Hello my name is Kierra , I've been a CNA/MA for 10 years. Over the years I've gained a lot of experience. I've worked in all types of healthcare facilities like hospitals, nursing homes , home health, Alzheimer units, and clinics. I love caring for others and assisting them with daily living. Being a caregiver is not just my passion it's my purpose.

It is a privilege to care for senior citizens. I enjoy talking to them and listen to what they like to share about themselves. I love to listen and learn what they want to share .It always bring back nice memories of me helping my Grandparents in their needs that they couldn't do anymore. I would help with light cleaning and being there just to visit and spend time with them. In my career in the family medicine office I have great respect and helped the patients .

I have loved seniors all my life. I find their lives are interesting and find it rewarding to nurture them and love bringing a smile to their day!!

Hello prospective employers. As an employee of a home care agency, I have experience with assisting the elderly with a variety of different duties including but not limited to, light house cleaning and meal preparation. I also helped with keeping track of appointments, medication reminders, and personal care options. I've provided companionship and conversation to those living on their own that need the extra help. I enjoy the company of the elderly and that stems from my love for my late grandmother and her caregiver. I was so amazed at such a positive effect one person can have on another person and I strive to provide the same type of joy and ease to someone.

I think I am a thoughful and caring person that can empathize well with anyone going through tough times. I enjoy the feeling I get from helping others in need. I became a caregiver when first learning about my son's emotional and behavioural disability. I graduated top of my class in medical assisting school and volunteered in the cancer unit at John Peter Smith hospital. I look forward to helping anyway I can.

I am very caring . I look over the residents like I would want to do with my own parents . I'm funny I love making residents laugh and making there day more excited and waiting to be happy even when their down . I want to be a caregiver because this is what I want to do with my life helping others who can't do it for them self or just need a little help with stuff they can't do anymore . I love my job as a caregiver because some people don't know how amazing this elders are and how much love they have in them . I'm proud of getting my CNA certification at the age of 16 by myself and study hard to pass this test .

I took care of my grandpa all through thigh school, he had diabetes and later went on to get his right leg amputee and was bed bound until he passed away. Taking care of him fo so long I learned a lot and I learned to have compassion and to help those whose really need it. I'm currently in school to become a nurse and ive already worked as a caregiver. I have a lot of patience and I really like to establish a good relationship with my patients because I don't want them to feel alone, especially right now with everything that's happening. I want to make them feel comfortable at every moment and especially in their final moments.

Im a very hard working, caring and compassionate person. I go above and beyond peoples expectations without being asked. I like to work hard, and naturally I care about other people. I'm currently a nursing student. I have one year left ( May 2018) before I receive my bachelor's degree. I worked with a variety of disabilities such as sickle cells, depression, schizophrenic, dementia, and, COPD. I have been known to stick around longer than the previous caregivers because I have much more patience then the average person. I will never leave someone alone if a family member hasn't released me, even when the shift is over. I'm hard-working and dedicated to helping families remain at home to keep their independence.

I love being a caregiver, I mesh well with all types of people but especially seniors. I've been a caregiver for over 10 yrs. I'm a current University of Houston student who has experience in the field. I have completed the training and the only thing thats left is to take the exam (which I plan on doing as soon as I can afford to) I'm very dedicated to my work and would like to work part time. I thought this would be a great field for me since its a great way to get in the medical field. I also feel like for elderly people its very refreshing to see a younger face.
