I am a responsible and dependable caregiver. My experience around elderly and in Assisted Livings has given me understanding and compassion for residents in any type of limitation that they are experiencing. I am patient, respectful, hardworking, and passionate about caregiving. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my mother. She used to be a caregiver and would take me to work every week since I was 5 so you could say I grew up in an assisted living surrounded by elderly. As a result, I've been exposed to a variety of different elderly residents with a vast range of limitations including dementia, Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, blindness, deafness, diabetes, and residents that are independent. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is learning from the residents. Each one of them is so unique, and each one of them communicates differently, sometimes because of their disabilities or limitations, but they all have a story and a lesson to pass on to others.

Throughout my career, I have always enjoyed helping other people. I am patient and a good listener. I like to find what other people are interested in and join them in enjoying these activities. I have worked with families providing respite care for caregivers and am interested in continuing do so as I contemplate retirement. My interests and work background are broad and varied (e.g., ministry, teaching, respite care, sports coach and umpire/referee, home remodeling/ repair, reading, crossword puzzles, hiking, camping, all sports, movies). I am experienced in in-home care as well as taking my "friends" on outings of their choice. I am blessed with a loving wife, a son, and two (soon to be three) grandchildren.

I am Patient, very compassionate, detail oriented, and loving. My granny also known as my best friend had became very ill around 2013/2014 and my mother worked a full time job, she didn't have anyone to help her take care of my granny so I told my mother that I would provide for her. I took care of her day in and day out, I enjoyed bonding with her and getting to know and understand her interest. It allowed me to care for someone else aside from myself and build a remarkable bond. That experience encouraged my choice in major for college. I chose to go to school for nursing minoring in CNA and for Pre-Med to be a cardiothoracic surgeon. It is my passion to help others regardless of their circumstances.

Hello, I'm Nicole and I was raised In Germany and Denmark before moving to the USA with my mom in ...well a long time ago. Growing up in a diverse social service worker household, where my Summers and all my school breaks were spent in camps and day cares with kids/adults with special needs, I never considered a career in anything BUT taking care of others. I remember my Great grandma going through the stages of Alzheimers and not fully understanding this, but feeling that she needed lots of love. While so many people are unhappy about their employment I feel blessed to have mine. I'm happy to say that I love doing what I do and I get to do it 24/7It is not a job to me it is my life, my history and my future. I am a highly energetic woman and I love to bring joy to others. At the same time, I'm patient and compassionate and I respect that everyone's situation is unique and needs to be treated as such. I spent nearly 20 years in case management and I came to realize how much I missed Direct Care, especially after taking care of my daughter. One of my favorite sayings is " It is an honor to take care of the ones that once took care of us' I have many many years of experience in a very diverse Social Service background and I don't shy away from any responsibilities. I love helping others and it's always been in in blood. I started working on the Telemetry floor at a hospital while in college and fell in love with the medical field and people. Caring for others is definitely my calling. Shortly after that I took great care of my grandmother who had dementia and knew me half the time. I'm glad I got to have that time with her. I have had my own health trials and have had to overcome more in my life that I ever thought possible. When I got to the point of good health again the first thing I wanted to do was help others and that's what keeps me going. I am warm, compassionate, funny and all around just a nice person. Hello I'm Rebecca! I am 20 years old, and absolutely love Colorado! I adore caring for the elderly, and even making friends with them. I have a deep passion for the medical field, and for helping others. When my grandma started declining in her health, I knew it was my calling to help all the elderly. It gives me a meaning to be at work, it creates a job I don't need a vacation from! I just had my first baby May 23rd! Prior to that I was working at Jackson creek senior living.
