Hello, I'm Nicole and I was raised In Germany and Denmark before moving to the USA with my mom in ...well a long time ago. Growing up in a diverse social service worker household, where my Summers and all my school breaks were spent in camps and day cares with kids/adults with special needs, I never considered a career in anything BUT taking care of others. I remember my Great grandma going through the stages of Alzheimers and not fully understanding this, but feeling that she needed lots of love. While so many people are unhappy about their employment I feel blessed to have mine. I'm happy to say that I love doing what I do and I get to do it 24/7It is not a job to me it is my life, my history and my future. I am a highly energetic woman and I love to bring joy to others. At the same time, I'm patient and compassionate and I respect that everyone's situation is unique and needs to be treated as such. I spent nearly 20 years in case management and I came to realize how much I missed Direct Care, especially after taking care of my daughter. Hi! My name is Stephanie! I am currently a Urgent Care/ER technician and work 3-4 days a week, 12 hour shits. I am interested in caregiving on some of my days off as I used to take care of a sweet older couple who lived down the road from me. They have recently passed on but it brought out my passion for caregiving and helping people when I can! I am also a CNA but I did a lot of that in my 20's and am now interested in the lighter side of those duties, light lifting, daily living activities, helping around the house, and offering company!! I love getting to know people, I am kind and compassionate. I can do overnight on occasion and prn.

I care for a disabled girl with sizure disorder. I'm very proud she is doing better in her ADL.she did not walk. Now she uses a walker and has improved tremendously. I work hard and listen to her need. Made her happy by taking her out to enjoy the outdoors.

I love helping others and it's always been in in blood. I started working on the Telemetry floor at a hospital while in college and fell in love with the medical field and people. Caring for others is definitely my calling. Shortly after that I took great care of my grandmother who had dementia and knew me half the time. I'm glad I got to have that time with her. I have had my own health trials and have had to overcome more in my life that I ever thought possible. When I got to the point of good health again the first thing I wanted to do was help others and that's what keeps me going. I am warm, compassionate, funny and all around just a nice person.
