Hello, I'm Nicole and I was raised In Germany and Denmark before moving to the USA with my mom in ...well a long time ago. Growing up in a diverse social service worker household, where my Summers and all my school breaks were spent in camps and day cares with kids/adults with special needs, I never considered a career in anything BUT taking care of others. I remember my Great grandma going through the stages of Alzheimers and not fully understanding this, but feeling that she needed lots of love. While so many people are unhappy about their employment I feel blessed to have mine. I'm happy to say that I love doing what I do and I get to do it 24/7It is not a job to me it is my life, my history and my future. I am a highly energetic woman and I love to bring joy to others. At the same time, I'm patient and compassionate and I respect that everyone's situation is unique and needs to be treated as such. I spent nearly 20 years in case management and I came to realize how much I missed Direct Care, especially after taking care of my daughter. One of my favorite sayings is " It is an honor to take care of the ones that once took care of us' I have many many years of experience in a very diverse Social Service background and I don't shy away from any responsibilities. I love helping others and it's always been in in blood. I started working on the Telemetry floor at a hospital while in college and fell in love with the medical field and people. Caring for others is definitely my calling. Shortly after that I took great care of my grandmother who had dementia and knew me half the time. I'm glad I got to have that time with her. I have had my own health trials and have had to overcome more in my life that I ever thought possible. When I got to the point of good health again the first thing I wanted to do was help others and that's what keeps me going. I am warm, compassionate, funny and all around just a nice person. I have several years of being a caregiver, I also love taking care of people. I have a big heart and a lot of compassion for people. I very much enjoy making someone happy and feel special. Being a caregiver helps me fulfill the need to help and take care of people.

Everyone I have met, in this life, have told me I most patient person they have met. I been the sick and elderly as long as I could remember, so I know that caring for a love one can be exhausting or even a burden for some. Although, that maybe the case for them, it's different for me, I like to be a ear with capable hands just helping people. I graduated high school and helped my grandparents and mother build our family restaurant.
