First I have been doing this for eight years as I said before I have worked in the Adult family home wish you know you have to do everything breakfast lunch and dinner shower grooming dress and also assistant living and also hospice center. I know for sure what I wanted to do in life taking care of babies are adults no I'm working at a space Center wish I love my job so much. Working at adult family home you have to be patient and re-approach be gentle and kind also the assistant living it's the same thing you just got a re-approach them be gentle be patient as I always say is the little things that counts and matters I'm not perfect everyone to make mistakes but I try my best to learn from them and you're never too old to learn more I remember I was at work one One of my patient was laying down and they have a visitor and I was trying to feed him something he turned to me and said I appreciate this so much because he was not taking anything before and look he is taking a few bites that made me feel so good so I feel like I'm doing something.

I can say that I'm a great caregiver because I'm very passionate with what I do. I have a vast experience from the many years I've been working as caregiver dealing with all different needs. I'm married with 4 kids ( 3 girls, 1 boy).

I'm retired from boeing but I do some care giving I'm a very compassionate loyal trustworthy and punctual person. I love to make seniors smile, laugh, and take on outtings if they wish, and are able to do. My love for Seniors started when my Aunt went to a Rehab center. I realized how much she enjoyed our outtings, playing games, and reading to her. She passed. It prepared me for the care of my Mother, who has now passed. On my time off, I enjoy my 3 grandkids. Have a cabin in leavenworth that we enjoy. I enjoy reading, canning, cooking and weekend trips in the PNW.

I am definitely a people person as I've discovered through being a nursing assistant. I am very compassionate and empathetic. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about them and their lives. I have 4 grown children (my greatest achievements) and 5 (another on the way) grandchildren.

I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and two minors in human development and sociology. Since then I have been working for a residential care agency with adult family homes and single individual apartments. I began as a caregiver and moved up to a site supervisor and eventually an area supervisor. As an area supervisor I manage eight special needs clients and 25 staffing caregivers. I am looking to change my job and do private caregiving as it will be closer to my home. I absolutely love being a caregiver and I cannot imagine myself doing anything else.
