I can say that I'm a great caregiver because I'm very passionate with what I do. I have a vast experience from the many years I've been working as caregiver dealing with all different needs. I'm married with 4 kids ( 3 girls, 1 boy).

I have more than 25 years of caregiving experience in US as CNA plus my previous medical background as MD in Ukraine. From 1995-1998 I worked for varies nursing homes like: Lakeview Gardens in Kirkland, Ida Culver in Seattle, Catholic Community Services in Bellevue. From 1998-2012 I was self employed running 3 Adult Family Homes in Bothell, Edmonds, Mill Creek. From 2012 due to my divorce I started working for Cascade Companion Care home agency. From 2013 to the present time I am working for VIP Home Care as a privet contractor-caregiver.From 2016 to 2018 I also worked with Husky Home Care as a caregiver specialist and training consultant. Prior 1995 I worked as a nurse for 2 years in Israel and 2 years as a privet companion in Canada.

I have 25 yrs experience in this care field . Through my experience with families I'm able to expand my network . It's a great opportunity I get to be part of their care needs . What a great reward .

I have over 15 years of experience providing reliable and compassionate care in both an Adult Family Home and in private home settings. I am committed to providing quality care while focusing on a person's emotional well being, understanding the importance of listening to, talking to and providing emotional support to clients.

As my 3 daughters grew and moved, I chose to care for my Mother with cancer, when she passed away, I found others who needed help thru friends and referrals. I took all classes necessary to fulfill the state requirements to be licensed in Washington state as a CNA . I have since been a long term caregiver to 3 Clients who have now passed, and to 4 shorter term clients that have since improved. I have a positive outlook, and enjoy the company of others who are seeking a little help , to be needed gives me purpose.

I know how to empathize in situations where I need to be empathetic. Patience and flexiblity is a must I get it, there are times when you might need someone to show up unannounced at any given time. I understand things happen, so just give me a call make sure I'm close by. I'm super attentive and respond to situations in a timely manner. I always put the needs of my senior first and I am able to take charge when necessary. I'm known for being a good listener but an excellent communicator. I can be creative at times making each day a little different, an overall good time. I am also committed and dependable and supportive. On & off the clock you'll come to realize that I am a trustworthy person & that I am able to maintain confidentiality in it's whole intergirty. To me a sense of humor is acceptable to anyone, it brings the magic to the room & enlightenment shines right through, so yes I see myself as a humorous person at times. Every day I am capable of being emotionally tough to not only protect, but to instruct the patient on the things that need to be done, showing a sense of Independence which shows cooperation. I should be physically fit and have a strong constitution and I will be always available able to perform light housekeeping duties at all times. I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and two minors in human development and sociology. Since then I have been working for a residential care agency with adult family homes and single individual apartments. I began as a caregiver and moved up to a site supervisor and eventually an area supervisor. As an area supervisor I manage eight special needs clients and 25 staffing caregivers. I am looking to change my job and do private caregiving as it will be closer to my home. I absolutely love being a caregiver and I cannot imagine myself doing anything else. I have a vast array of experience with many types of medical diagnoses and special needs. I strongly believe that the greatest skills a caregiver can have is incredible patience and to remain positive and smiling for those you care for! Hello, I'm Kathryn but you can call me Katie! I enjoy assisting residents with having the best quality of life possible and if we laugh and have a good time to then we are both winning in life! I have been a caregiver for 16+years. I started caring for children in my neighborhood when I was 12 years old and knew then that I would grow up caring for others. During high school I was in a volunteer program for elderly companionship and truely enjoyed spending time with the people I've met. I love listening to stories, reading books, playing favorite games, and bringing laughs to their bedside tables. If I help a laugh or smile I feel like I'm doing my job right. I know pretty much all the tricks of the trade when it comes to just about anything that comes up in a situation for a person once I've gotten to know them and their daily routine. I focus on client based care, and meeting the clients needs and comfort is priority and I do as best possible with what tools I have to work with.

I absolutely love being a caregiver. I have been doing this type of work for many years and can't see myself doing anything else. I am honest, loyal, dependable and have a great sense of humor. I go above and beyond my job responsibilities. I am very skilled at making my clients comfortable, along with their families.
