I serve client my with love and a smile no matter how difficult or unthankful they could be. Out there, there are clients suffering and lacking help, i am motivated with love to server and help the client and their families who may be struggling to find even rest due to the situation of their loved one. First I have been doing this for eight years as I said before I have worked in the Adult family home wish you know you have to do everything breakfast lunch and dinner shower grooming dress and also assistant living and also hospice center. I know for sure what I wanted to do in life taking care of babies are adults no I'm working at a space Center wish I love my job so much. Working at adult family home you have to be patient and re-approach be gentle and kind also the assistant living it's the same thing you just got a re-approach them be gentle be patient as I always say is the little things that counts and matters I'm not perfect everyone to make mistakes but I try my best to learn from them and you're never too old to learn more I remember I was at work one One of my patient was laying down and they have a visitor and I was trying to feed him something he turned to me and said I appreciate this so much because he was not taking anything before and look he is taking a few bites that made me feel so good so I feel like I'm doing something.

I have a great sense of humor, with 17 years experience. People enjoy being around me. I have a lot of energy and always enjoy being happy. I have an adorable family, and enjoy cooking for others. Being a caregiver is my passion and adore my clients, and always love to put a smile on their faces in so many ways if I could. I know how to empathize in situations where I need to be empathetic. Patience and flexiblity is a must I get it, there are times when you might need someone to show up unannounced at any given time. I understand things happen, so just give me a call make sure I'm close by. I'm super attentive and respond to situations in a timely manner. I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and two minors in human development and sociology. Since then I have been working for a residential care agency with adult family homes and single individual apartments. I began as a caregiver and moved up to a site supervisor and eventually an area supervisor. As an area supervisor I manage eight special needs clients and 25 staffing caregivers. I am looking to change my job and do private caregiving as it will be closer to my home. I absolutely love being a caregiver and I cannot imagine myself doing anything else. Hello, I'm Kathryn but you can call me Katie! I enjoy assisting residents with having the best quality of life possible and if we laugh and have a good time to then we are both winning in life! I have been a caregiver for 16+years. I started caring for children in my neighborhood when I was 12 years old and knew then that I would grow up caring for others. During high school I was in a volunteer program for elderly companionship and truely enjoyed spending time with the people I've met. I love listening to stories, reading books, playing favorite games, and bringing laughs to their bedside tables. If I help a laugh or smile I feel like I'm doing my job right. I know pretty much all the tricks of the trade when it comes to just about anything that comes up in a situation for a person once I've gotten to know them and their daily routine. I focus on client based care, and meeting the clients needs and comfort is priority and I do as best possible with what tools I have to work with.
