I want to make a difference in someone's life I have over 10 years experience working as a caregiver I am dependable and willing to work and learn new things. I have my CNA license, have recently completed my studies for an LVN license and am waiting to take the national test.

Hi My name is Karen I have been a caregiver for almost 19 years . I have worked in care centers, hospital, home health aide, and assisted living for 3 years. I love my job, my biggest reward was when I was teaching someone how to walk again she was my biggest achievement, I am back in school learning Medical assisting now.I love getting people to smile this is how I know we have achieved a trusting relationship, I feel if on there toughest day you get a smile you are doing your job. I treat my clients like they are apart of my family.

I became a caregiver because I do great with children an live being around kids it's such a beautiful experience and a wonderful sight to see when kids are jus enjoying life playing and learning I'm proud that I was able to graduate high school and make my way through college and become a medical assistant I'm outgoing energetic and very reliable I am very sweet honest and funny

I have never taken on the roll as Caregiver "proffessionally", but I consider the years I cared for my mother my Experience. I enjoy being a caregiver, friend and or confidant to someone who needs the help because I have seen first hand the treatment our Seniors recieve and it is truly sad. Anything I can do to make thier lives a little more pleasant and easy is great. Personal achievement I am proud of is helping my mom live her last years fully and happy, following her wishes. Making sure her funeral was carried out to her exact liking even though she no longer took a breath. I can tell you I have worked in the medical field for twelve plus years and my desire to help the needy and always put the patients needs first. I can work a computer well, answer multiple phone lines and many other office skills.

I have been in the care giving field for seven years now. Although I am certificate Dental Assistant I find care giving to be very rewarding. I've worked with adults with disabilities in a day program setting as well as one on one independent living and group home setting also. I truly enjoy what I do and have gained excellent repor with the consumer's that I have worked with over the years.

I became a caregiver when I had to cover for a friend of mine that had a family emergency out of town. I then became a full-time employee until Mrs.Smith passed on. I feel a sense of peace when I am assisting those that are unable to do much for themselves. I pride myself on making my client as comfortable as possible. I have a passion for helping and until I,myself am unable to do for others will continue to do so. With empathy and compassion I am here to serve.

I understand it is a time that much help is needed when caring for someone you love. I care helping others and has been in my nature in doing so since the age of 7 when i learned how to babysit, cook, and clean. I am the eldest of 9 siblings it was a good lesson on responsibility. As the years went on I started watching/caring for other peoples children or loved ones (teens/adults). I have also experienced working with mentally challenged and disabled individuals in a home and facility setting. It makes me proud to know I can lift the stress and worries off another persons shoulders because I know what it feels like when you have to work to pay bills and feed your family, them fine time to spare or spend with them, it becomes over baring at times. I want to be the person to give you a helping hand...dont forget we all need some from time to time:)

I'm a very outgoing person that loves to talk to others about anything and everything. I enjoy taking care of others and doing my best in making them as comfortable as possible and feel cared for. I like being a caregiver because I love getting to know other people and being able to make their lives a little bit easier. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is how many times my patients/residents tell me how caring I truly am. These people see so many faces and know how cares about their jobs versus who don't, and to be remembered and appreciated is the most rewarding thing to me.

I'm compassionate, punctual, and committed to providing the best quality care. I have taken care of my own family members. One with dementia and one with terminal cancer. I will never regret those moments. I love what I do. I feel I have a calling to the medical field to help people and families in need. Family is important to me. That is why my husband and daughter are one of my biggest achievements in life.

I became a Caregiver/CNA because I love helping people. I like being able to support others, make them laugh and enjoy life, give them a sense of caring and love. I like assisting others in being more self sufficient and becoming a better person. My most proud personal achievement is completing and receiving my degree in Nursing as well as becoming a proud mother ans wife. Something you should know about me is that I love life. I am a very compassionate, caring, happy, honest person that will go the extra mile for anyone that needs it. I was taught at a young age to do what is right no matter the reward because that in itself is the true reward. I love what I do and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

I've been working with mentally challenged adults for twelve years. I'm also a certified nursing assistant and have done home health care for the elderly and disabled. I enjoy helping and caring for others that need assistance. It's a passion of mine and I decided to earn my Associate's degree in human service and will continue to earn my Bachelor's degree in human services.

What made me become a caregiver was the fact that I know how lonely it is for a elderly person. And for someone to spend time with them while there family is starting there own life it's important for someone to be there. That's what encouraged me to become a care giver.
